Johansson to Donate Super Bowl Pad to Charity
7 February, 2007

Scarlett Johansson went to Miami this past weekend for the Super Bowl celebrations and ended up winning a one-year lease on a $2.2 million condo in South Beach. So what does a 22-year-old blonde starlet do with a pad on the beach? According to her representative, “She won the lease, (but) we made a decision that day to donate it to a children’s organization. Possibly Miami Children’s Hospital, so visiting parents have a nice place to stay.”

Scarlett Wins a Lease
4 February, 2007

Golden Globe nominated actress, Scarlett Johansson, came away with the “Super Bowl” of prizes today at the Sprint Style Villa on Ocean Drive Village, winning a one-year lease on a $2.2 million Bayfront condo at Flamingo South Beach. As part of the “Find Your Fortune at Flamingo” Super Bowl promotion, sponsored by developer MCZ/Centrum and real estate agency Fortune International, Johansson drew the lucky key that unlocked a specially designed “glass” house which encased a Lucite replica of the Flamingo building, thereby winning the one-year lease.

Johansson’s new South Beach crash pad is a direct Bayfront lanai unit at Flamingo South Beach. The three-bedroom, three bath condo has recently undergone a complete renovation and features a stunning contemporary design with a mix of sleek cabinetry and countertops, stylish kitchen and bath fixtures, exotic wood floors and natural stone surfaces. Johansson’s condo is located in the South Tower of the 1,688-unit community; sales in the North Tower go on the market in the next few weeks.

The Nanny Diaries Blurb
2 February, 2007

Scarlett Johansson didn’t want to blow people’s minds away in her new movie – at least not in a sexual way – so she insisted on looking like your average, everyday girl.

The director of “The Nanny Diaries” has revealed that Scarlett was “de-sexified” for her latest movie role.

The stunning 22-year-old actress decided she needed to play the dowdy girl-next-door for her portrayal of a college student working as a nanny to put herself through school in “The Nanny Diaries.”

Co-director Robert Pulcini revealed, “We thought about how we would approach Scarlett because she is very glamorous, but she’s the one who said, ‘I really think I should have brown hair and look like an everyday college girl in this movie.’”
