A new poster for The Other Boleyn Girl has surfaced online! It seems Scarlett in a more prominent role than the first one. Thanks to NataliePortman.com for the find and everyone who alerted me about this.

First of all, I wish to take a moment to thank our new donors: Jennifer from Germany, Maria from Switzerland and Reija from Finland. I really appreciate it! We are already getting a lot closer to getting something very special for the site so thank you to all of the contributors!

When rumours begin to circulate that King Henry VIII (Bana) is no longer intimate with his wife who has been unable to give him a male heir, Sir Thomas Boleyn concocts a plan to bring his family back to prominence: his daughter Anne (Portman) shall seduce the King and provide him with a son. However, the scheme goes off course when the King takes to the other Boleyn girl, Anne’s younger sister and best friend Mary (Johansson). Although married already, Mary gives in to family pressure and reluctantly provides the King with a boy, but along the way, she finds herself falling in love with the surprisingly tender monarch. Of course, this love affair is no obstacle for Anne whose hunger for the throne now overpowers her sisterly love, and she enacts a plan that eventually tears her family and her country apart while leading to her legendary demise.

Scarlett Johansson comments on Penelope Cruz in the Spanish actress’ cover story for Vogue magazine:

Johansson revealed that Allen wrote a part for the Spanish beauty after he saw her in her Oscar-nominated role in Volver.

However, he was so infatuated by her that he was reduced to a stuttering mess in her presence.

“Of course Woody was so unbelievably enamoured of her. He’d be like ‘Uh-uh-uh P-Penelope, P-Penelope. You’d think, ‘You are such a stuttering fool, man. Just get your stuff together.’ But what can you do – he’s an appreciator of fine things, and Penelope is quite fine,” she added.

Vicky and Cristina, two young American girls, go to spend the summer in Barcelona. Vicky (Rebecca Hall) is straight-laced and about to be married. Cristina (Scarlett Johansson) is a free-spirit and very sexually adventurous.

They meet a flamboyant, Spanish artist (Javier Bardem) and his beautiful but insane ex-wife (Penelope Cruz). They all become involved in romantic adventures that are either hilarious or harrowing, depending on your point of view. Barcelona is seen as a very beautiful, romantic city like New York was in the movie, MANHATTAN.

I’ve added three clips and replaced the previous The Perfect Score captures with larger versions. While the film is not one of my Scarlett faves, I still like the character of Francesca Curtis and her look. It is always refreshing to see Scarlett as a stunning red head.

I have decided to look for some donations for Scarlett-Fan.com. There is something extra special that I would love to obtain for the site but I cannot afford it by myself.
