Looking For Donations
20 November, 2007

I have decided to look for some donations for Scarlett-Fan.com. There is something extra special that I would love to obtain for the site but I cannot afford it by myself. If you’re a frequent visitor and enjoy the site and want to see it grow, please consider making a donation. All donations will be used to improve the site and no donation will go unrecognized.

If there will be enough donations, I will also try and get a copy of Visionaire for scanning (the new magazine with Scarlett’s ‘nude’ feature). But I am not holding my breath as it is so expensive and I believe nearly sold out. As you may remember, the limited edition (2,500 copies) issue costs a hefty $375 (plus shipping).

To make a donation, please scroll down and click on the PayPal Donate button in the sidebar.

Del Prete on the Life and Loves of The Spirit
20 November, 2007

Deborah Del Prete, CEO and Partner of Odd Lot Entertainment, is currently Producing Will Eisner’s The Spirit. During our recent visit to the set, amidst a rush of activity including a closed rehearsal and shooting various scenes between the Spirit and the Octopus, Del Prete was able to take some time to speak to us about The Spirit and how she helped bring the project to life.

As Producer Del Prete has been involved with The Spirit from its initial development stages nearly seven years ago to the current production and will continue on through post-production.

In terms of the story Del Prete says that, “Sand Saref stories are a major component.” How developed is the story? “It’s the Frank Miller version, it’s very developed…it’s not an origin story, but there will be origin revealed in it.”

20 November, 2007

I’ve added 12 HQs of Scarlett filming He’s Just Not That Into You in Baltimore last weekend with Kevin Connolly. The film is expected to wrap this week. Read on for an article from Baltimore Sun:

Celebrity sightings continued this weekend as the cast of He’s Just Not That Into You worked and dined around town.

Filming, which started Friday in Little Italy, will tentatively continue through tomorrow. Based on a self-help humor book, the movie brought stars Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Connelly and Kevin Connolly to Baltimore for the past few days.

In Mount Vernon, restaurants Thairish and the Helmand were temporarily redecorated Saturday with new lights, a new door and a new name: Red Seven.
