I have added the preview cover and photoshoot of Scarlett and Natalie in the March 2008 issue of W magazine. Whether or not you like it, I think everyone will agree it is certainly a different photoshoot from the usual. The magazine hits newsstands nationwide on Tuesday, February 26.

Check out the article here.

“You’re never going to find me at the Ivy,” says Johansson, referring to the notorious paparazzi hangout. “I don’t care how good the Cobb salad is. These tabloid magazines—I think they’re hideous and the downfall of society.”

I think they both could have done with a little less eye liner, and Scarlett’s lipstick is a bit too dark. but other than that, I like it :)

I love this photoshoot to death! Absolutely fabulous. I know there will be people who will not be too crazy about it, but I am sold.

^Indeed, I am among those who are not crazy about this photoshoot. There’s something I find vulgar about Scarlett’s pose, which is very rare coming from her. But I totally blame it on the art direction. Scarlett doesn’t suit black so much and in this photoshoot, it’s just all over the place. :dead:

@ScarlettSkies: I definitely see your point. I like a little artsy, “contrast-heavy” photoshoots like this, though, but I think in that I might be in the minority. At any rate, if you don’t like the photoshoot, I agree – the blame lies on the art direction. :) The dog is such a fabulous addition to the shoot, though! ;)

More of a teaser from the mag, courtesy of Perez Hilton:

“I’ve been battered for saying that I don’t believe humans are monogamous by nature. The response was, like, ‘What a ho-bag!’ I didn’t mean that I don’t practice monogamy in my own life—of course I do! I’m not going to be in some tarty relationship. But I stick by what I said. I remember another time, I said I get tested for AIDS twice a year, and again that got spun as me being promiscuous. But I was single at the time, and I think it’s important to do that!”

ON HATING GOSSIP MAGAZINES…“You’re never going to find me at the Ivy. I don’t care how good the Cobb salad is. These tabloid magazines—I think they’re hideous and the downfall of society.”

ON SUPPORTING BARACK OBAMA…“I will continue stumping for Obama until he’s elected. The past eight years have been painful for a lot of people. We’re in a state of emergency.”

Because she said she does practice monogamy in her own life, I don’t believe that she really believes that humans aren’t monogamous by nature.

I think she shouldn’t make discusting a comment like that about not believing that humans are monogamous by nature if she does believe humans are monagamous by nature, and if she doesn’t believe humans are monoamous by nature she has discusting views about that, and if she isn’t really monogamous when she said she does practice monogamy in her own life I think she is discusting and that she is not a nice person.
I also think the photoshoot is vulgar, I think the only nice thing about the photoshoot is the dog, which looks normal and natural in the photos.

In interviews I have seen before of Scarlett I had thought that Scarlett sounded like an intelligent person.
