Check out the newly released cover for Scarlett Johansson’s upcoming album, “Anywhere I Lay My Head”. Reports People.com:
She’s calling her debut album “Anywhere I Lay My Head” – and it looks like Scarlett Johansson is taking a literal approach to her album art. Due May 20, the album features covers of alternative troubadour Tom Waits’s music, plus one original composition. Johansson was joined in the studio by David Bowie, who lends guest vocals on “Falling Down” and “Fannin Street.” Produced by TV on the Radio’s David Sitek, the album marks the actress’s recording debut. And Sitek does double duty. A label rep confirms he snapped the cover photo, taken in Louisiana, where they recorded the disc.

I am soooooo excited for this! The Cover is gorgeous and if anything conveys the class aand artistic originality that Miss Scarlett has always had! I can’t wait!
I think this looks like a nice picture to have as an album cover. I think it looks like a sophisticated and serious album cover.
does SCarlett have a new tattoo? it looks like she has one on her bicep, just under the shirt sleeve
I LOVE the cover! So beautiful and… feminine. Represents Scarlett really well.
and… to the person that posted before me… I agree about the Britney Spears “Blackout” cover. The cover hardly does justice to the actual album though, because the album is AMAZING.

I wish they had tweeked the text a little more – it could’ve used a wee bit more effects and better placing – but other than that I quite like the album cover! The concept is very creative and beautiful and has been quite well executed. The result doesn’t look sloppy, as is often the case with album covers (seriously, though? What kind of a four-year-old slapped together Britney Spears’ ‘Blackout’ cover?).
