Boleyn Girl DVD Release

DVD Times has details on the June 10, 2008 Region 1 DVD release of The Other Boleyn Girl.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of The Other Boleyn Girl on 10th June 2008 priced at $28.96 SRP. Two sisters (portrayed by Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson) contend for the affection of King Henry VIII (Eric Bana) in this adaptation of Philippa Gregory’s novel.

It will be released in the UK (Region 2) on June 30. No word on the special features yet.

FHM “100 Sexiest Women of 2008?

Scarlett has again made the top 10 of FHM magazine’s list of the 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2008. She ranked at # five this year – last year she came in third. Here’s what they said to say about Scarlett:

After a starring role in this spring’s The Other Boleyn Girl, rest assured that this 23-year-old sex symbol won’t be leaving this list anytime soon.

The promotion for Scarlett’s album “Anywhere I Lay My Head”, to be released May 20, 2008, seems to be in full speed now and several promotional websites have opened this past week. Vicky & Cristina Go to Cannes

I have been out of town for the past week so I’m a little behind on news. Bear with me as I work on getting the site up-to-date this weekend.

Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona has indeed been confirmed to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May. It will be screened out of competition. For more details, please refer to the festival’s official site.
