I wanted to put up a themed layout to celebrate the release of Scarlett Johansson’s “Anywhere I Lay My Head” album, which is now available world wide. Go and get your copy! Once again, Mycah of Purple Haze Inc. came to the rescue and created this fresh new layout from the album promo pictures. I hope you like it as much as I do! And if you run a fansite and are in need of a HQ layout, keep your eyes peeled at Purple Haze Inc. because she’s re-opening the designs site tomorrow, Wednesday. Feel free to share your thoughts on the new look in the comments.

This week’s issue of NME - on UK newsstands nationwide from tomorrow (May 21) - has an exclusive cover story and photoshoot with Scarlett Johansson. Stay tuned for scans!
Actress Scarlett Johansson, who released an album of Tom Waits covered named “Anywhere I Lay My Head” yesterday (May 19), has hinted that she may play festival dates this summer.
The star said that the only thing stopping her was stagefright.
“It would be sad to not get everybody [band members] together,” she told The London Paper. “Whether it’s at a festival or somewhere that’s kind of fun.
“[But] I have horrible stage fright, so it would have to be overcome. People approach me [about playing live] and my usual answer is, ‘Ah, I’ll think about that’.
“When I do think about it, I start to get really sweaty and uncomfortable and itchy around the neck.”

Scarlett’s best friend, musician Jessie Baylin spoke to E! Online about her friendship with the actress and the album and the wedding.
Scarlett Johansson’s best friend, singer and songwriter Jessie Baylin, has high hopes for ScarJo’s wedding to Ryan Reynolds.
“I’m really excited for them,” Baylin, 24, told me earlier today. “I think Ryan is amazing. She’s beautiful, and she’s going to look beautiful.”
Johansson may want to avoid looking at Baylin during the ceremony. “If she sees me crying, then she’ll start crying,” said Baylin, who has known the actress since they were 14-year-old schoolmates in New York City. “She’s a bawler.”

PageSix spoke to Scarlett’s rep regarding the her Cannes skip:
The drama and demands are in full swing at the Cannes Film Festival. Scarlett Johansson actually skipped the fest, where her new picture - Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona - premiered, while the other stars soaked up the accolades, reports Britain’s Daily Mail. Warner Brothers Films spent weeks negotiating with Johansson’s reps over flights, hotel, limos, gowns, hair and makeup. But she demanded her own makeup artist rather than sharing one with co-star Penelope Cruz. She also wanted to stay at a hotel a half-hour away. Johansson’s rep said she wasn’t at Cannes “due to scheduling conflicts,” but was thrilled at how well the film was received. Warner did not respond to an e-mail.
