Scarlett Johansson is involved in two new, important campaigns.

Scarlett and The Spirit co-star Eva Mendes will be featured in a series of PSAs to encourage cell phone recycling. The celebrity pair are building awareness for this cause in hopes of lowering CO2 emissions by limiting the energy needed to create new phones.

Environmental Media Association and Lionsgate teamed up for the cell phone recycling campaign in conjunction with the December 25th release The Spirit, which stars both Scarlett and Eva.

Scarlett is also part of In My Name, a project of the Global Call for Action Against Poverty, delivered with the support of Comic Relief, Oxfam International and Save the Children.
