Scarlett Johansson Speaks In Cleveland, Ohio
1 November, 2008

Scarlett Johansson campaigned for the Obama-Biden ticket at Case Western Reserve University today in Cleveland, Ohio.

Johansson told students and other supporters that Barack Obama’s stand on the War in Iraq sealed her endorsement, but also approves of his positions on health care, education, and the economy.

Scarlett took questions from the audience and was asked about Sarah Palin. Johansson claims Palin would roll back most of the gains made by the women’s movement, and called the Alaska governor inexperienced, and a very scary person.

Johansson says as she campaigns across the country, she doesn’t expect people to take the word of an actress very seriously, but wants to make her views known.

Johansson contends this is an exciting time to be young, and a great time to make a difference by voting.
