The girl is not a singer and now she tries to imitate a southern belle trying to sing..Scarlett,you are not Nora Jones or Celine Dion so please don’t sing anymore.The way you sing is an embarassment and you will soon overshadow what acting skills you have left with this nonsense of trying to sing when you cannot! Its repulsive!!!

I remember her saying before her first album that a music career is something that has always been in the back of her mind but she never really took it seriously.. We all know that acting is a no brainer for her. It’s admirable that she is embracing the challenge by choosing to do something that might not come as naturally..

To my mind, she’s different and unique and she’ll always be that way. If she was really like all the Hollywood stars she would have done some reality show or a stupid R&B album with Timbaland but no, she’s doing the kind of music she likes, she wants to explore herself as an artist and that’s her right. Her acting in this video is not bad because she’s palying someone who is bored and someone who doesn’t wanna be there. Scarlett Johansson is someone I respect and I admire, she has talent. I love everything she does because she’s always making good choices both for her movie career and her music career.

lighten up! I didn’t mean to be mean! just that her acting to be bored really seems as if she doesn’t care – like the part she did in vicky cristina. she seems not to try to widen her range. but that is just my opinion.

and: i don’t base her acting skills just on this video – that would be crazy!
i just have to think of girl with a pearl earring and the spirit and see which path she chooses and stuff…

by the way: like the song as well – just not the way she acts in the clip

I think its kind of pathetic that she has changed her voice drastically in this song after the horrible reviews of ‘Anywhere I lay my head’. I mean who is she trying to be?
She should stick to acting.

oh and Just because people are fans doesn’t mean they have to claim to enjoy every single thing she decides to create or produce (which I’ve realized people doing).
She’s way too commerical now, she used to be cool – I do believe that her rise in status and fame has forced her to change.
I mean her style, everything; she turning into every other actress out there.
I would say she’s simply progressing, becoming more aware of the ways she can explore her talent etc… but I mean seriously, I thought she was one of a kind, different, unique – not so much anymore.
