The only problem is that he’s been dead for 11 years.

Didn’t anyone see “A.I.”?

Just because it was a project developed by Kubrick and later given to Spielberg doesn’t mean it’s going to be a good idea.

Plus, a project like this has expectations that is quite impossible. If Kubrick was alive and doing this film. The anticipation level would be extremely high.

It’s nothing to get excited about and it could become a huge disaster because of what people are expecting. Even with a name as revered as Kubrick attached to it.
