Scarlett Johansson could receive over $66,000 in restitution from celebrity hacker Christopher Chaney, it is reported. The Hollywood starlet was among other female performers who had their privacy invaded in recent months by the notorious computer criminal. And TMZ reports that the U.S. Government is recommending to the judge handling the case that Scarlett and other people targeted should receive money for their trouble. Legal documents filed with the U.S. District Court in California sets out how prosecutors feel Christopher should be dealt with.
He had pleaded guilty to nine hacking related felonies earlier this year after stealing and then uploading raunchy photos of stars like Mila Kunis, Christina Aguilera and Renee Olstead. Christina is down to receive $7,500 while Renee would get over $76,000. Prosecutors are also pushing for Christopher to spend 71 months behind bars. He will be sentenced on July 23 when he is due back in court.
