Hello and welcome to Scarlett Fan your top site for all things Mrs Scarlett Johansson on the web.

SodaStream has named Scarlett Johansson as its first celebrity ambassador but will that be enough to get SodaStream pop up again soon? Her voice made Joaquin Phoenix’s character fall in love with her in the movie “Her” and Esquire magazine fell in love with everything else about her. Now 28 year-old Hollywood superstar Scarlett Johansson is being cast in Super Bowl ads for SodaStream.
The home soda maker is hoping that Johansson, as their first-ever “celebrity ambassador”, will drive up sales significantly. That’s something they very much need at the moment. On Monday, the company lowered its fiscal 2013 guidance after holiday sales came in lower than expected. That’s sent shares down 25% shortly after the announcement.

I am disappointed that Scarlett chose to endorse SodaStream – they are a company which violates human rights. operating out of occupied territory in the West Bank. The company exploits Palestinian labourers. Scarlett is also an Oxfam ambassador and this doesn’t make sense that she would work with a company like SodaStream. Very sad – I hope she will cancel her contract with them if possible – she should have been more careful who she signed with.

What about the SodaStream factory in the infamous West Bank?! Or the exploited and badly treated Palestinian workforce?! Does she know about this?! Does she even care?! Is money all that matters?! A total disgrace!

    Hello from Finland,
We and many our friends are very pleased on SodaStream. It is worth of advertising! Unfortunately there are some persons who want to make that political issue. For them one could say that the Israeli sodastream factory employs about 400 Palestinians with same wages as the Israeli employees. Real work against poverty!
    Best regards, Elina

  4. Margaret Buckley says:

I would like to commend Scarlett Johansson for taking such a firm stance on her endorsement of Sodastream.
What a shame that those who seek to deligitimize Israel don’t care about the facts concerning Israeli/Palestinian relations in the ‘West bank”. How refreshing to have a celebrity figure who doesn’t bow t popular misconceptions

  5. Very proud of you, Scarlett!

It’s unfortunate ScarJo would give up being global ambassador of OXFAM for SodaStream. It says a lot about her position on Israel’s constant bullying and total disregard for human rights of the Palestinian people. I used to admire her so much…..

Does ScarJo really support Israel’s oppression of the Palestinian people?

  7. Tom Morrow says:

very proud of your stand in the Oxfam situation. True stength of character Keep it up!

  8. Janet Fennerty says:

 I am dissappointed in your endorsement for and work with Soda Stream. I have been very proud of your work with oxfam and am confused how you could turn your commitment from a peace and support group like oxfam to a private, politically dangerous company such as Soda Stream that promotes Israeli domination and oppression of the Palestinian people. Drop them and go back to Oxfam!!!
