She hasn’t spoken about her pregnancy (said to be five months along), but Scarlett Johansson has assured fans that nothing with delay the production of “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
The “In Good Company” cutie was busy promoting “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on Wednesday (March 12) when she was asked about any scheduling conflicts that may arise as a result of outside factors (such as her bun in the oven).
Johansson didn’t skip a beat, though she also never mentioned her pregnancy, and confidently stated that everything was moving along nicely.
Scarlett explained, “Everything for ‘Avengers 2’ — we’re full steam ahead. We start shooting in three weeks and I’m stunt training and we’re good to go. You know, I think it’s something that is [laughing] hard to talk about, exactly. You know, trying to skirt around your question exactly [laughs] — and, you know, doing a poor job of it. But, you know, like I said, everything is exactly on schedule… Everything is going just fine. The Black Widow always wins and will continue to.”
Though she failed to mention her little one, Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige told Collider.com, “Well my first reaction was I was very happy for her and very excited for her.”
“My second reaction was we’ve got to move some pieces on the chess board around schedule-wise. But we didn’t change the script at all, which is sort of the most important things for us in terms of the storyline.”
Feige’s comments verify news that the 29-year-old actress is due to welcome her first child into the world with her fiancé Romain Dauriac.
