A very small gallery update today in an attempt to begin to catch up. I’ve added several MQ behind the scenes photos of Scarlett at the Dolce & Gabbana photoshoot.

Scarlett Johansson is definitely Dolce & Gabbana’s muse these days. The famous actress has recently become the face of their cosmetics products, and now she also stars in the campaign presenting D&G’s new perfume.
Rose The One is the sister fragrance to The One. After three years on the market, The One has evolved with new hints of red grape, mandarin, lychee, peony and vanilla.
The perfume is to go on sale in September.

A small gallery update but it’s filled with new treats for you all. First up, a new still from Iron Man 2 has been released featuring Scarlett as her Natasha Romanoff persona. Thank you Stephanie for the heads up on it. Another thank you to Risa for emailing me with the newest photo from Scarlett’s Dolce & Gabanna campaign. You will notice that it is very similar to the Spring campaign. And finally, I’ve screencapped a short video I found which features a lot of behind the scenes footage of Scarlett at the Mango photoshoot plus an interview with her at the photocall earlier this month.

I look like a street, punky girl,” Scarlett Johansson tells me. “It’s that edgy Debbie-Harry- meets-Marianne-Faithfull look.”
Certainly the new images of Johansson for the autumn/winter 2009 Mango campaign, which hits the streets today, are a world away from the Scarlett that we’ve become used to.
Gone is the preppie, all-American girl of Lost in Translation, or the noir heroine of The Black Dahlia.
Johansson shot the ad campaign for the Spanish high-street fashion store with über-cool photographer Mario Sorrenti.
Hair styled in a tousled blonde bob, we see Scarlett wearing leather and leopardskin, super-skinny jeans and a black bra.
You wouldn’t mess with that girl. “She’s not a waif,” says Johansson proudly.
She takes over as the face of Mango from Penelope Cruz (who has fronted it for the past two years) and jokes she already knew a lot about the clothes from working with Cruz on Woody Allen’s Vicky Christina Barcelona.
I’ve replaced three of the behind the scenes photos from Scarlett’s Mango photoshoot with HQ versions plus added one new one. Also added are a few more photos from the upcoming Fall campaign.

Scarlett was in Madrid today for the official debut as the new face of Mango. I’m gathering photos from the press conference photocall now and they should be up within a few hours. For now, enjoy some of the photos from the ad campaign which have been added to the gallery.
