It’s release date is over a year away, but details are already emerging about the sequel “The Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
In a recent interview with Parade magazine, Scarlett Johansson, who plays Black Widow, hinted, “I think the script is dark and it’s dry. It’s got this amazing one-liner, glass-cutting sense of humor.”
However, it’s not going to be another unoriginal money-making attempt trying to capitalize on the success of the first film. She adds, “Obviously the script is very cerebral. It doesn’t lose that exciting comic book aspect that people enjoyed in the first film, but it’s smart and it feels like the next installment. It doesn’t feel like a rehashing, it feels like these characters are moving forward, plotlines are moving forward.” “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” is scheduled for release on May 1, 2015.
I added almost 800 screen captures of Scarlett’s latest movie “Don Jon”, which premiered on the Sundance Film Festival on January 18th 2013. Check out captures and movie posters below. You can view them all by clicking on the pics of the links.
Jon Martello objectifies everything in his life: his apartment, his car, his family, his church, and, of course, women. His buddies even call him Don Jon because of his ability to pull “10s” every weekend without fail. Yet even the finest flings don’t compare to the transcendent bliss he achieves alone in front of the computer watching pornography. Dissatisfied, he embarks on a journey to find a more gratifying sex life, but ends up learning larger lessons of life and love through relationships with two very different women.
I added over 20 stills of Scarletts current movie: “Don Jon”. Check them out in the gallery below.

She’s always up for a new challenge, and Scarlett Johansson looked pretty intense as she filmed scenes for her new movie “Lucy” in Taipei, China on Tuesday (October 21).
Joined by costar Min-Sik Choi, the “Lost in Translation” starlet donned some voluminous blonde locks as she worked her mojo for the cameras.
Meanwhile, Scarlett has been devoting some of her free time to a new all-girl band called The One & Only Singles.
Ms. Johansson told Malibu magazine, “I’ve just been slammed with work, and we just haven’t been able to finish [recording]. I write music sometimes in my trailer when nothing else is happening. I wish I could do that full-time. I would love to have that gift. But I don’t. So, for me, it has to be more of a collaborative process. Because I’m not a songwriter. I can understand lyrics, I understand melody, but it’s something that I would have to dedicate myself to, and I don’t have the time.”
As for the group, Scarlett explained, “I would say it’s super-pop … It’s like unabashed pop. The idea was to write super-pop dance music written and performed by girls. Like Grimes … something like that. I love Grimes. And I love the Bangles. And I love the Go-Go’s. I wanted it to be like those bands- ultra pop but also a little ironic, a little in on the joke.”
Thanks to Lu from Drop Dead Diva for making these amazing captures of Scarletts role in the 2011 movie “We Bought A Zoo”.

Tending to some promotional duties surrounding her new film, Scarlett Johansson showed up for the premiere of “Under The Skin” at the 2013 Venice Film Festival on Tuesday (September 3). The “Avengers” beauty looked absolutely stunning in all-black as she made her way down the red carpet with director Jonathan Glazer.
Per the synopsis,”Under The Skin” is a story about an alien in human form that is on a journey through Scotland. The film was slated hit US theaters on August 29, and will be shown at the Toronto International Film Festival as well.

She’s always up for a challenge, and Scarlett Johansson is the hottest alien ever in the new trailer for “Under The Skin.” The freshly-released teaser features the “Lost In Translation” stunner as an extra-terrestrial making her way through Scotland while seducing and consuming men.
Meanwhile, Scarlett told Harper’s Bazaar that she’d love to see Hillary Clinton as the next President of the United States of America, and hasn’t ruled out a political pursuit for herself.
“A full-on career might be a stretch, but I would never close the door on those kinds of things,” she stated, adding, “To be an active member of the community, to be a responsible citizen and to engage politically have always been part of my awareness and part of my life.”
Gearing up for a big fall release, a new trailer for Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s “Don Jon” hit the web on Wednesday (August 14). Starring in the rom-com are Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, and Tony Danza. “Don Jon” hits theaters on September 27th.
Check out the trailer below, in which Joseph’s character Don Jon struggles with a choice between fantasy and reality.
It ain’t easy being the Black Widow sometimes.
Or, more specifically, it ain’t easy fitting into the Black Widow’s skin-tight suit pretty much all the time!
“It’s not that easy to wear the Black Widow outfit, let’s be honest. You can wear the Captain outfit,” Captain America: The Winter Soldier star Chris Evans told E! News at Comic-Con on Saturday.
“He’s tried it on, he can tell you firsthand,” Scarlett Johansson chimed in, razzing her frequent Marvel Universe costar.
“But I don’t know, it just didn’t look as good,” Evans admitted, shrugging good-naturedly.
The hunky star also agreed that he can sympathize with ScarJo’s pain when it comes to sacrificing certain things in order to make weight for those unforgiving superhero getups. Asked what the one thing is that they reach for when the training is done and the suits come off, Johanssen paused for a second.
“Hmm, I don’t know…Just the buffalo sauce!” she offered.
“Just carbs, carbs,” Evans added. “Gluten!”
Overall, however, the experience has obviously been worth it, not least because of the legions of new fans the actors have gained by playing such iconic characters—the love for whom is fully on display at places like Comic-Con. “It’s great, it’s so exciting,” Johansson said. “I never expect that kind of reaction in my life in general, so I’m always thrilled. It’s always a nice surprise, right?”
“It’s a reward,” Evans agreed. “These are the fans that make these movies happen. Without these fans, these movies don’t exist. So giving them a treat, giving them something to look forward to, it’s rewarding.”
And judging by what was revealed at Marvel’s big presentation in Hall H, including footage featuring a first look at Robert Redford as a member of S.H.I.E.L.D., the fans are in for quite a treat.
Marvel Studios CEO Kevin Feige said that the Captain America sequel would be shared by Johansson and Evans “in a big way” and Joe Russo, who codirected the film with brother Anthony Russo, told Huffington Post: “There’s a very strong connection in the narrative between the events of the end of Avengers that drive this film—and there’s a very strong hand off to Avengers 2 at the end of this movie.”
