I’ve updated the gallery with some new photo additions to a couple of Scarlett’s most recent appearances.

Back in 1997 I stayed up way too late one night to watch a quirky little independent movie on one of the cable movie channels.  A little girl named Scarlett Johansson was in it and I thought she was so amazing in the movie.  That movie was Manny & Lo and from that night on, I was a fan.  I hadn’t seen the movie in awhile but I watched it as I screencapped it and it’s still very quirky and Scarlett is still amazing in it (and how adorable was she?!).  I’ve added nearly 1000 captures to the gallery and this means that we now have DVD quality screencaptures of all available Scarlett movies!  Any votes on what I should work on next for the gallery?

Over the past couple days, I have spent hours going through the list of affiliates.  Many many sites have been deleted for one of these reasons:

• Not linking back to Scarlett-Fan
• Not updated within the last two months
• Virus detected on site
• Unable to find affiliate page
• Unsuitable for most viewers (i.e. links to porn sites)
• Dead link

I am human so it’s possible that I deleted a site that should not have been deleted.  If you feel that your site was removed in error, feel free to apply again.  During this process, I denied all pending affiliates so if you’ve applied recently, please apply again.  Affiliation is open right now but will be closed soon.  You can find the application form here.

The archive of screencaptures for Scarlett’s films is nearly complete!  Tonight, I’ve added just over 1500 screencaptures of Vicky Cristina Barcelona which, as I’m sure you all know, had an Oscar winning performance by Penelope Cruz .  The movie was heavily advertised as being a romantic comedy but I found it to be rather light on the humor.  Overall, it was a very entertaining movie and Scarlett looks so amazingly beautiful in it.  Very natural and fresh – and simply gorgeous.

In my continuing quest to complete the DVD screencaptures for all of Scarlett’s movies, I have added 700 from The Spirit – including menus and a making of featurette.  While not one of my favorite movies, it is visually stunning and Scarlett looks amazing!

Hello Everyone! I’m Rope and I’m glad to announce that I will be co-webmistress with Lisa from today! I’m also a long time fan of Scarlett and I’ve been following her career since I saw her in Girl With a Pearl Earring. I will do my best to keep both Scarlett-Fan and Scarlett-Photos updated, and I hope you like my job and of course Lisa’s!

To start, I’m adding to the gallery some unseen outtakes from Scarlett’s album ‘Anywhere I Lay My Head’ photoshoot, she looks so natural and beautiful.

While perusing the gallery, I noticed that we were lacking DVD quality screencaptures of The Other Boleyn Girl.  This has now been remedied with the addition of nearly 2000 captures including the movie, featurettes, and deleted scenes.  I’m expecting my copies of Vicky Cristina Barcelona and The Spirit tomorrow so screencaptures of those will be up soon!

Greeting Scarlett fans!  As Riikka posted not long ago, she has decided to step down as owner of Scarlett-Fan.  She has graciously passed the site over to me and I can’t even begin to tell you all how excited I am.  I’m a long time fan of Scarlett’s and have been following her career since 1997.  This site has always been one that I admired – and I’ll admit it, coveted -  for many years.  I know that I can continue to make this site grow and remain the #1 Scarlett source on the web.
