The first poster featuring Scarlett’s character – Kelly – is out!

Scarlett was photographed today in Glasgow (Scotland) on the first day on set of her upcoming project ‘Under The Skin’. She’s wearing a black short hair wig! Such a a different look from what we’re used to! She recently talked about her character:

“In a few weeks I will be shooting in Scotland a sci-fi thriller directed by Jonathan Glazer, ‘Under the Skin’. The plot seems a bit difficult to explain. In fact when you read the script it can be ridiculous. It focuses on an alien who adopts the appearance of a woman and snares human prey to feed her species. Until, at some point, the alien experiments an empathic behaviour that makes her rethink her opinion on human beings.”

Scarlett covers last week’s edition of spanish magazine S Moda. Photographed during her trip to Milan to attend Dolce & Gabbana’s fashion show, Scarl looked so glamorous and sexy! There are some new photos and a new interview, unfortunately for some of you it’s in spanish but I translated some of the most interesting quotes:

“In Hollywood, everyone takes care of their image to the last detail. But in my private life, no. I advocate a healthy lifestyle. I don’t like extremes. When I go to a presentation, a gala, or a premiere, I know I’m going to be photographed on the red carpet. Let’s say it’s not a surprise for me. But it terrifies me that they try to take snapshots of my personal life. In any case, being a sex symbol does not represent any extra pressure for me. I consider myself an independent woman. And when I have to go to an event, I simply choose the dresses in which I feel more comfortable and glamorous. Someone will always criticize me by the look I chose. But you can’t allow these types of comments affect you. And so you can’t stop going out as much as people recognize you and try to stop you when you pass by their side.”

“Young people should claim their right to vote ever since they turn 18. It is a right for which our ancestors have fought and were killed. And the mere fact of despising it for me seems irresponsible and disrespectful. It’s absurd not to participate in society and in political life through the ballot box. It is certainly a matter of ignorance.”

‘The Beauty Book’ is a hard cover coffee table book with images of your favorite celebrities, musicians and top models. All the monies raised, will go directly to Brain Cancer via two charities called Snog & Headrush. These charitable organizations are non- profit and both rely on donations for research.

Not only the trailer is out, some new photos were released this week too, behind the scenes, stills… And damn, I forgot to post about the movie shooting, as most of the cast members (of course, including Scarlett) were spotted in NY last month filming the last movie scenes. The first trailer for writer/director Joss Whedon’s The Avengers is now available online. Quick impression: I really like what I see. The plot is simple and to the point: Loki wants to destroy the Earth, and Nick Fury puts a team of superheroes together to stop him. While this may be a “team”, the star of the trailer (and perhaps the movie; we’ll see) is Robert Downey Jr. He gets both the laugh lines and the bad-ass lines. I don’t think anyone else talks except for Loki, Nick Fury, and Captain America. The only thing that’s awful is the music that plays in the second half of the trailer, but that’s no fault of the movie.

On monday, Scarlett hosted a fundraiser for the candidate for mayor of New York, Scott Stringer. She was glowing with that Michael Kors look, so simple but so elegant!

The relationship between the two has something very special, Scarl’s grandmother, Dorothy Sloan, worked for the candidate many years ago, and Scarlett’s brother, Hunter, who also attended the event, is working with Scott in his campaign. You can view some pics in our gallery.
