There was a benefit cocktail held in Madrid, Spain yesterday evening at the La Quinta Marques de la Concordia. Scarlett was there, again with The Spirit co-stars Paz Vega and Eva Mendes. All stunning ladies wore orange ribbons. Scarlett wore an interesting combination of a lace shirt and a skirt outfit, paired with big diamond earrings and black heels. Her hair was pulled back.

Today there was a photocall for The Spirit held in Madrid, Spain and Scarlett was in attendance along with The Spirit’s other beautiful ladies; Paz Vega and Eva Mendes. Scarlett is rockin’ some new tresses, I think she looks so stunning!

The second trailer for He’s Just Not That Into You which opens February 6, 2009 has debuted in High Definition on MySpace. There are a few new scenes with Scarlett and she looks totally stunning. The rom-com has an impressive cast which also consists of Drew Berrymore, Jennifer Connelly, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Aniston (whole lot of Jennifer’s huh?), Ben Affleck, Bradley Copper and more. There is some new things with The Spirit that have recently debuted. For starters we have the final theatrical poster, a new TV spot and the official site updated with some things and I added this stuff to the gallery. Riikka also scanned the Christmas Total Film special as promised.
And last night during Entertainment Tonight they showed a condensed new trailer for He’s Just Not That Into You which featured a couple of brief new shots of Scarlett. Lastly I have added temporary scans from Allure by ‘kroqjock’. There is only photos here, but I’ll pick up the magazine when it’s available here and make full article scans and all.

Mega promotion is really getting started for The Spirit due out December 25, 2008. First off, we have a new Christmas themed trailer. Next up, Miss Silken Floss graces the cover of Wizard #206 (December). It’s a gorgeous new promo image. Lastly, MTV debuted a new show called Spoilers tonight which had a featurette about the film’s women. If you’re a US resident, you can watch the entire first episode via this link. You may also watch a longer cut of the featurette which features more of the Spirit’s ladies after the cut. There was a lot of new Scarlett scenes and even an interview. I will make caps of this tomorrow.
Today I made caps of many of the recent charity/vote videos Scarlett has been a part of, as well as three different videos relating to the Case Western University speaking. Also many MQ pictures from the A Funny Thing Happened event have been replaced with HQ versions. Lastly gallery wise, I made a scan from the November issue of GQ, it’s the 25 sexiest women in film of all time where Scarlett was listed with the famous Lost in Translation opening scene and there are three new stills from The Spirit.
Also, unlike previous reported, Miss Johansson was not apart of the Will.i.am “It’s a New Day” video. No other celebrities actually sing on the track but there are video cameos, but none of her. You can watch the video here.

As previously reported, yesterday Scarlett Johansson attended the A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Cure Parkinson’s Event. She looked stunning in a white Dolce & Gabana dress and diamonds with her hair in an up-do.

Also, regarding the Obama win, Scarlett said “The overwhelming hope that Obama inspires is infectious.”
“I’ve always maintained a strong faith in the power of Obama’s positive campaign and am so proud of every citizen who took a stand, participated in the political process and insisted their voices be heard.”

As a follow-up to his run in the New York City Marathon on Sunday, Ryan Reynolds attended the “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Cure Parkinson’s” 2008 Benefit For The Michael J. Fox Foundation on Wednesday night (November 5).
And, of course, Scarlett Johansson accompanied her hubby to the charitable evening, which was held at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers in New York City.
Reynolds ran for Team Fox of the Michael J. Fox foundation, inspired by his father Jim Reynolds’ struggle with Parkinson’s disease, this past weekend – finishing the long-distance race at a respectable time of 3:50:22.
