Straight from the Donations Bin
4 May, 2008

I have been going through the donations bin this weekend, which includes some really cool stuff. Romina and Joanna sent in scans from new Dutch and Polish magazines (including some new pics!) and Roberto contributed screencaps of deleted scenes of The Nanny Diaries, which can be found on the Italian DVD. I’ve scanned Scarlett’s page from the FHM ’100 Sexiest’ special and added plenty of additional pictures to the New York, I Love You on set albums. Click here to view all new additions. Enjoy the new goodies and, again, thanks so much to everyone who contributed!

Photoshoot & Scans Update
27 April, 2008

I come bearing some pretty awesome goodies today, if I so may say myself, heh. I have added some stunning additional outtakes from Scarlett’s Vogue (2007) (very rare!), Allure (2006) and Allure (2005) photoshoots. Massive thanks to Maria for the Allure sets! Please remember that you must be a registered member and logged in to view these photos – otherwise you will just get an error.

Mycah also sent in some clippings from recent magazines. They include coverage of Scarlett’s USO visit and Vicky Cristina Barcelona (nothing directly of Scarlett but still interesting to fans of the movie).

The Spirit Teaser & Posters
20 April, 2008

The Spirit was featured at the New York Comic Convention yesterday. In result, a new teaser trailer and a couple of new posters have been released online. Unfortunately, the teaser does not feature Scarlett but you may still want to have a look at the MTV Movies Blog or YouTube as it certainly looks pretty cool! The posters are also available in the gallery but again, there’s no Scarlett to be seen in those. I hope they’ll eventually release one of her, like this one of Eva Mendes (seen on the left).

The Spirit & VCB Stills
13 April, 2008

The folks over at Lionsgate have released the first official production stills of The Spirit, including one of Scarlett as Silken Floss, the character described as “a punk secretary and frigid vixen”. Apparently, the leaked unapproved photos of the film created quite an uproar online as many fans were disappointed in the look of them. I guess some did not realize that they are simply green screen on set and costume photos, not actual finalized stills. So the studio released these new images to showcase what the film will actually look like. In my opinion, Scarlett looks pretty damn cool here and I personally cannot wait to see The Spirit!

I’ve also added new stills from Vicky Cristina Barcelona and replaced one in high quality. Thanks to Mr.Harris for finding the one of Scarlett and Javier.

“Anywhere I Lay My Head” Album Cover
5 April, 2008

Check out the newly released cover for Scarlett Johansson’s upcoming album, “Anywhere I Lay My Head”. Reports People.com:

She’s calling her debut album “Anywhere I Lay My Head” – and it looks like Scarlett Johansson is taking a literal approach to her album art. Due May 20, the album features covers of alternative troubadour Tom Waits’s music, plus one original composition. Johansson was joined in the studio by David Bowie, who lends guest vocals on “Falling Down” and “Fannin Street.” Produced by TV on the Radio’s David Sitek, the album marks the actress’s recording debut. And Sitek does double duty. A label rep confirms he snapped the cover photo, taken in Louisiana, where they recorded the disc.

What do you think of the cover? Feel free to post your comments!

First He’s Just Not That Into You Still
1 April, 2008

Here’s the very first official production still from the upcoming movie He’s Just Not That Into You. The photo features Scarlett Johansson and Drew Barrymore, who is also producing the flick.

“solush23″ at the IMDb boards had the chance to see the film in an advance screening. Here’s what they had to say about it:

Roles:
Scarlett plays her usual sexpot/seductress role
Jennifer Aniston plays a woman who wants to get married
Jennifer Connelly is a newlywed and control freak (she has a couple funny scenes)
Ginnifer Goodwin plays the hapless single girl looking for love
Drew Barrymore is a single girl looking for love online
Justin Long plays the love guru giving advice

Fun facts:
Scarlett sings in this movie and not that badly!
No there is no nudity.
All the Jennifers and Ginnifer appear in scenes together
Scarlett and the other Jennifers and Ginnifer do not have any scenes together
Greg Behrendt, the writer of the book has a cameo
Drew and Justin do not have any scenes together
The movie is produced by Drew’s production company, Flower Films
The most laughs are from the gay supporting characters
They don’t use the phrase “He’s just not that into you” in the film
