Thanks to JustJared, we have some highlights from Scarlett’s upcoming Elle cover story: On being Woody Allen’s muse: “We’ve joked about that word. Woody says, ‘You appear and my writer’s block is cured.’” On Woody Allen: “Woody’s mannerisms and his wit are classically him. But when you know someone, your conversation has an intimacy that you couldn’t have predicted from seeing him on the screen. Woody surprises me all the time. On film, you see his neurotic side but not his sensitivity.” On being fondled by Isaac Mizrahi at last year’s Golden Globes: “I was so mortified. Holy moly, that was bizarre!”

Elle’s November Hollywood Issue hits newsstands nationwide on Tuesday, October 16th. HQ version of the Elle cover is now available here – gorgeous!!!

Edit: I’ve added preview scans of the issue by chateauxs! The editorial is beautiful, I especially love the back and white close-ups. By the way, according to the article, Scarlett’s album will be released in February 2008.

I’ve updated with a set of pictures of Scarlett on the set of He’s Just Not That Into You yesterday. It looks like she was not too keen on being photographed, hence I only added a couple of shots to showcase her look.

From one movie to another – our favorite workaholic was photographed on the set of her new movie, He’s Just Not That Into You, yesterday in Los Angeles. This is actually the very first day of filming of the project. Co-star and producer Drew Barrymore was also photographed on the set and you can view photos of her over at Drew Fan. I think that Scarlett looks incredibly cute with the sunnies and the ‘sunbrella’.

I am back from my trip to Venice. As you probably heard, Scarlett Johansson did not attend the film festival. Only the directors were present to promote The Nanny Diaries. She did, however, appear on Conan O’Brien and GMA after filming additional scenes for The Other Boleyn Girl in England. I have added a lot related photos and videos for you to enjoy! Thanks to Mycah, Aloxite and everyone else for the help and contributions!

Scarlett also recently filmed a promotional clip for WYOU, Madison’s non-profit community access television station. I’ve also added its caps and the video.

Happy The Nanny Diaries day! After all of those release date changes, Scarlett’s newest film finally opens today in North America. The critics’ reviews have been mixed but I’d rather hear what the fans think of the film and Scarlett’s performance. So be sure to head out to see it and let us know your opinion!

From The Hollywood Reporter:

Johansson is game. There’s nothing to criticize in this performance, but there’s nothing to get excited about, either. It’s solid though uninspired work.

From Charlotte Observer:

Johansson, hair dyed brown to make her seem less glamorous, spices up this bland role.

From Variety:

Johansson, for her part, essays an engaging heroine, though even with mousy brown hair and Casual Corner wardrobe, she’s far too voluptuously beautiful for the job, like a Tiffany necklace in a brown paper bag.

Although Johansson has a knack for nailing most roles, the angry yet fun-loving nanny doesn’t quite work for her.

Mycah has sent in a bunch of amazing goodies. These include three The Nanny Diaries related videos from ET. The most interesting one is from August 22. In it we get to see some of Nicholas Art’s audition with Scarlett and she is also interviewed briefly. Mycah also made captures from all of these news segments. Last but not least, we’ve added two more stills.
