Old Scans and Press Articles
5 December, 2006

I continued the endless task of scanning today as I took out my older clippings and scanned Scarlett’s early magazine features. I uploaded scans from 11 different magazines from the late 1990s and early 2000s, including Teen People from 1998, in which Scarlett poses with Jessica Biel and Kirsten Dunst. View all scans here at Scarlett-Photos.com.

And thanks to our very own Kharmatos, I’ve added two articles to the Press Archive:

- Cosmopolitan (UK) – December 2006
- LA Confidential (US) – January 2006

This will probably be my last update for this week since I’ll be having some company staying over – unless there will be something all new to add. Meanwhile, enjoy these additions!

Exciting – the first production still of The Other Boleyn Girl has been released by Spanish film magazine called Fotogramas! Both Scarlett and Natalie Portman are looking wonderful in their costumes. Can’t wait to see more!

Scarlett-Photos.com (!!!)
22 November, 2006

Our new gallery is finally open to the public and may be viewed at Scarlett-Photos.com! I have been working on it for the past couple of months and have basically re-done everything – re-capped all movies, re-scanned magazines, replaced lowres photos with high quality, etc. A lot of work is still waiting to be done but I wanted to get it out in the open for Scarlett’s birthday. Atleast there’s quite a few of new photos to browse while waiting for me to upload the rest.

Please register to view all images! It is completely free and only takes a minute or two. You will not regret it.

I wish to say special thanks to my friends Stef, Maria (#1), Maria (#2) and Nuage for their help and contributions.. And of course, Mycah for the layout, which I think is a piece of art in itself!

Last but not least, Scoop was released on DVD in the US yesterday. Is there a better way to celebrate Scarlett’s birthday than by picking it up? I am waiting for my copy to arrive and once it is here, DVD captures will be found in the gallery. I can’t wait to see it!

The Prestige London Premiere
5 November, 2006

New photos are pouring from The Prestige London premiere that Scarlett Johansson attended with Hugh Jackman. She looks absolutely stunning channeling the Golden Years of Hollywood. Photos will only be posted at the forum (must be registered to view) for the time being because the new gallery which I have been talking about for weeks will be opened to the public next week.

Scans Day
11 September, 2006

Miss Scarlett has been featured in several European magazines this past month. The Vogue photoshoot is so beautiful – I just wish that the article was a little longer. What I find interesting is how UK magazines seem quite keen on writing about the RED campaign but it has barely been mentioned by the US media. US Vogue has never given Scarlett a proper feature either – let alone a magazine cover – but the UK edition has featured her on the front cover twice now.

Also – offline I am working on a lot of new features for the site. I don’t really want to reveal them yet because it is a lenghty process that will take time. Yes, the video archive will see a huge update very soon too.

But I wanted to ask all of you something. We get so many amazing comments here every day and I am very thankful for that. It really inspires me to update because interaction is what I most love about making a fansite. The question is that would you be interested in me setting up a new message board for the site? Yes, there is already a forum about Scarlett that used to be apart of the site but many of you have expressed interest in having one that is purely focused on Scarlett’s career and would not be into gossip and all of that. We already have a little community of people commenting who have expressed a desire in a forum project. Setting up a forum might inspire even more discussion and certainly would archive all of the comments for a longer period of time. But since I am a busy girl, I don’t want to do it for nothing if no one would be interested in writing.

Comments concerning this would be appreciated.
