Scarlett Johansson is going to be a mom! The 29-year-old Her actress is expecting her first child with fiance Romain Dauriac, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
Johansson’s pregnancy news comes six months after her rep confirmed to Us back in September that she was engaged to French journalist Dauriac. The couple first went public with their romance in November 2012.

During a Jan. 15 appearance on Good Morning America, Johansson said their wedding was “far off.” “I’m not doing any wedding planning,” she said at the time.
The Don Jon actress, who was once married to Ryan Reynolds, revealed in the October 2013 issue of Esquire that Dauriac helped make her a less jealous person. “I didn’t think I was a jealous person until I started dating my current, my one-and-only,” she shared. “I think maybe in the past I didn’t have the same kind of investment. Not that I liked my partner less, I just wasn’t capable of it or caring that much.”
Scarlett Johansson is going to be a mom! The 29-year-old beauty is expecting her first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac, multiple sources confirm to E! News.
The pregnancy news comes just six months after it was announced that the Oscar-nominated actress is planning to tie the knot with her French journalist beau. E! News confirmed the couple was engaged in September after ScarJo flashed her vintage Art Deco ring on that finger at the Venice Film Festival, with her rep adding that the lovebirds are “very happy.”
The expectant couple went public with their relationship in November 2012, not long after Johansson ended a roughly year-long romance with Nate Naylor. She and Ryan Reynolds divorced in July 2011 after almost three years of marriage. He tied the knot with Blake Lively last September.
And despite her whirlwind romance with Dauriac, Johansson is in no rush to walk down the aisle.
“I’m not doing any wedding planning,” the Her star said with a smile during an appearance on Good Morning America on Wednesday, Jan. 15, adding that swapping vows with her hunky man is “far off” from her mind at the moment.
But while her nuptials may not be her main focus, the Don Jon beauty admitted to wanting children.
“I would like to have my own family, that would be nice,” she told the Daily Mail in December 2013. “They say it’s never the right time and I am sure that’s true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else.”
“At some point it is something I look forward to,” she continued. “I am fortunate in that I have had a long career—20 years—that has been very diverse. So, you know, picking a time to plan a family feels like something that I could do and not feel as though I was missing out.”
Which is a far cry from what she told Elle U.K. in December 2012, admitting to the publication that she “never” thought about marriage.
“It’s really not important to me,” she said. “The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me, ‘Would I get married again?'”
“I’m not having kids anytime soon,” she added. “I’m in a nice relationship, I’m working a lot and, like I said, it’s not important to me.”
Oh, how times have changed.

Marvel Studios is developing a film that would revolve around Black Widow, the character played by Scarlett Johansson in the “Iron Man” and “The Avengers” franchises.
Studio president Kevin Feige has long been high on the character even before her role was expanded for April’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” When promoting the homevideo release for “Iron Man 2,” in 2010, he said, “We’ve already started discussions with Scarlett (Johansson) about the idea of a solo movie and have begun putting together concepts, but ‘The Avengers’ comes first.”
But Feige is once again discussing the prospects for a Black Widow film now that “The Winter Soldier” is about to be released on April 4.
“We wanted to change the dynamic of the cinematic universe with this film,” Feige told Total Film magazine in a new interview about the “Captain America” sequel. “We wanted Cap and really the entire cinematic universe to be very different at the end of ‘Winter Soldier’ than it is at the beginning.”
According to Chris Evans, who plays Captain America, Black Widow’s storyline in “The Winter Soldier” revolves around “her coming to terms with her history, that she’s been a spy, and spies aren’t necessarily trustworthy,” he told Total Film.
That will be further explored in “The Avengers: Age of Ultron,” out in 2015. Film starts production in March.
“(Black) Widow’s part in that is very big,” Feige said. “We learn more about her past and learn more about where she came from and how she became in that film. The notion of exploring that even further in her own film would be great, and we have some development work with that. When we meet the Avengers at the top of ‘Age of Ultron,’ it’s a very different landscape than we left them at the end of the first film. Partially, that’s because we love the rhythm that the comicbooks have developed — each of the characters appear in their runs, occasionally they get together for a big event or crossover series, they part again, and then they come back together again.”
It’s unclear whether Marvel hopes to have a Black Widow movie become part of its third phase of films, which so far includes “Ant-Man,” “Doctor Strange” and the third installments of “The Avengers” and “Captain America.”

She’s dealt with constant criticism over the years about her body, and now Scarlett Johansson is ready to reveal her true thoughts on the matter in the Spring 2014 issue of Dazed & Confused magazine. The “We Bought a Zoo” beauty donned designer duds from Carl Manzi and Saint Laurent for the Benjamin Alexander Huseby-shot front page while opening up about her famous “womanly” curves.
“How could I wake up every day and be a normal person if I was completely aware that my was being manipulated on a global platform?” Scarlett questioned. “How could I sleep?”
She continued, “You have to have a peace of mind. You’ve got to be able to protect those things. How else could you exist? You’d go crazy, anybody would go crazy…” In regards to whose body she would love to take over for a day, Miss Johansson stated, “Beyoncé – so I could finally get those moves right.”
