When you think Woody Allen, actors like Diane Keaton, Tony Roberts and Mia Farrow are the names that most immediately come to mind. But these days, the king of all New York filmmakers has been busy injecting his usual recipe with some spicy Spanish flavoring.
“Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” star Javier Bardem told us of the film’s title. “That’s the name of the American characters, which are Rebecca Hall (The Prestige) and Scarlett Johansson. [They’re] the two girls that go to our salon; but I don’t know if that is going to be the final title or not.”
As any fan of the 71-year-old filmmaker knows, not only is Allen still doing his best to crank out a movie a year (he’s only missed 1991 since the early Eighties), but he has also maintained a Spielberg-esque routine of keeping his modestly-budgeted films as secret as possible.
Scarlett Johansson is featured in Let Me In, a new book of photographs by Mario Testino. Thanks to the ever-wonderful Jen, we have high quality scans of it. Enjoy!

The Nanny Diaries will be available to own on DVD (R1) from December 4, 2007, and should retail at around $29.95. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include behind the scenes featurettes, and a blooper reel.
I’ve re-capped and made clips of two of Scarlett’s early movies – Just Cause and If Lucy Fell. Her roles are very small in both but I think she still does a good job and appears very natural. Check out the clips and let me know what you think!

A ton of videos have been added to the video archive these past few days. We now have 224 downloadable videos featuring Scarlett Johansson! I have uploaded everything that I have on my computer so the only thing left is for me to do is create more clips of her movies. View all new videos here!
If you have any video interviews of Scarlett that are not in the archive yet, please send it in!
She’s a fierce talent who’s already won one Oscar for her supporting work, but take a look at Jennifer Connelly’s filmography and what jumps out is that most of it is, well, supporting: John Nash’s wife, the Hulk’s girlfriend, the love interest of male leads in Requiem for a Dream, Dark City, The Rocketeer and more.
“I’ve done so many movies where I’ve been a wife or a girlfriend and less where I’m playing just a friend,” Connelly admitted to MTV News. “That’s one of the things that was exciting about [being in] He’s Just Not That Into You.”
Based on the popular self-help book of the same name, He’s Just Not That Into You follows several stories, each of them told “in sort of chapters,” Connelly said, “chapters on this thematic idea” — basically how to tell when a man is interested in a relationship.
Scarlett Johansson, Eva Longoria Parker and Jessica Biel have designed their own corsets for charity. The Hollywood stars teamed up with Clothes Off Our Backs and Frederick’s of Hollywood to add their own personal touches to the lingerie, which will be auctioned today to raise money for children’s charities.
Edit: Johansson’s corset, a champagne satin piece decked with platinum glass beads, sold for $11,000.
I’ve added scans from Elle (The Netherlands) – November 2007 and Marie Claire (Australia) – October 2007. In Elle four make up artists apply different make-up on Scarlett, which is interesting to see. A big “thank you” goes out to Tubish and Rachel for scanning these mags for the fans to see! I’ve also added more caps from various interviews, including KOVR Sacramento (2007) and The Today Show (2006), which were both new to me. I will be adding videos of these as soon as I have a little more time in my hands.
