|I’ve added three stunning pictures of Ms. Johansson on the set earlier today. As usual, she looks absolutely lovely there! Hopefully some more will surface shortly.|

After *two months* of internet downtime, I am finally back up and running! It feels great to be back and I have so many things to add to the site as soon as I can get to it.
I’ve started by adding 26 HQs of Scarlett filming the Woody Allen project yesterday, July 23. That would be day 11, if I’ve counted correctly. Due to popular demand I’ve also made screencaptures of the color version of The Man Who Wasn’t There. Heavens to Betsy, Birdie! Scarlett was already way gorgeous back in 2001.

Scarlett Johansson has become the latest celebrity to join Oxfam’s Global Ambassador program, officially launched today. Johansson joined following a trip to India and Sri Lanka with Oxfam where she visited a school for girls, and survivors of the tsunami. She joins an influential group of international artists and public figures including Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Djimon Hounsou, Colin Firth, Gael Garcia Bernal, Annie Lennox and Dame Helen Mirren, who support the international humanitarian and development agency
“I want to be a part of the great work that Oxfam is doing, and am glad that by being an Ambassador I can continue to be involved with the organization,” said Johansson. “Once you have met amazing people like the Dalit girls I met on my trip you just can’t turn your back. I was shocked by a lot of what I saw, but seeing the fantastic work Oxfam was doing I also felt that there was hope.”
There has not been any new pictures from the set of Woody Allen Spanish Project this week as they have been filming indoors. I did, however, manage to upload a couple of more of Scarlett and Woody on day five.
Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 07/08 campaign ads are slowly starting to appear in magazines so please let us know if you spot any. I’ve added two new ones in the gallery, as well as a Russian Color Riche ad. Thanks so much to our awesome forum members for all of the great finds!
Variety reports that The Weinstein Co. has moved up the release of The Nanny Diaries to August 24 from September 7, 2007. This is the third time the film has changed dates, but “There is nothing rotten in the state of Denmark,” Harvey Weinstein said. “We really believe in the movie and people like it.”
The company thinks it’s a good move, pointing to data that shows total grosses for the week before Labor Day running 31% higher than those during the week after Labor Day. “It’s clearly better playtime,” said The Weinstein Co. distrib chief Steve Bunnell. “If we had a movie in June or July and moved it back to August, then that could be a dumping ground, but this isn’t that situation at all.”
The Nanny Diaries will screen August 31 in a gala at the Venice Film Festival. Early indications are that the movie may not be best-picture bait but could have potential for various comedy honors such as the Golden Globes’ musical/comedy nod.
Penelope Cruz was asked about Scarlett Johansson at a Monday press conference in Ibiza, Spain, where she and her younger sister, Monica, launched their Mango clothing collection. “We have a lot of scenes together,” Cruz told People. “Scarlett’s very sweet. I’ve met her a few times just around. I’m so excited for this film. I’ve been going around saying my lines everywhere.”
|I’ve updated the gallery with five pictures of Scarlett filming on July 13, 2007. They were shooting in Passeig de Gracia, Barcelona.|
