Woody Allen began shooting scenes on Monday in the northern city of Oviedo following weeks of filming his next – and still untitled – movie in Barcelona.
Dozens of onlookers, photographers and journalists watched as Allen and his crew filmed Javier Bardem and Rebecca Hall walk out of the city’s elegant Hotel de La Reconquista.
Later, Scarlett Johansson was in a scene at the hotel. Another star appearing in the movie, Penelope Cruz, has yet to be seen in the city.

Internet gossip sites are once again buzzing with the false information that Scarlett is to portray porn star Jenna Jameson in an upcoming biopic. As you may remember, Scarlett’s rep confirmed the reports as being completely untrue back in January 2007. Here’s a report from People, where the rumors are once again reported as false;
Despite circulating reports and Jenna Jameson’s hopes that the actress is just the right mix of sexy and mysterious, Scarlett Johansson will not portray the porn star in the film adaptation of her autobiography.
“Scarlett has never seen a script nor been approached about this project,” says a rep for the actress. “She also has no interest in playing this role.”
Speaking with People at the Comic Con convention in San Diego this weekend, Jameson, 33, said she was smitten with the 22-year-old Johansson after seeing her Golden Globe-nominated turn in the 2003 film Lost in Translation.
“I remember thinking to myself, this girl has such a sexuality without even really trying to be sexy,” Jameson said. “I was like, ‘This girl could play me.'”
As actors and film crews working for Woody Allen clog up the already bustling streets of Barcelona this summer, the residents of this eastern Spanish city have begun to ask why their city hall is helping fund the director’s next film.
With a section of the city’s famously busy Las Ramblas boulevard among the streets to have been blocked off for Allen and stars such as Scarlett Johansson and Penélope Cruz, the grumbling has turned into a political row.
Some 10% of the budget for the film, known as The Barcelona Project and featuring Spanish actor Javier Bardem, comes from city and Catalan regional taxpayers.
Barcelona city hall has set aside almost €1m (£680,000) to help fund the film, as well as providing police escorts for Johansson and others. A further €500,000 comes from the regional government of Catalonia.
|In the past few days I’ve added a total of 42 HQs of Miss Johansson on the set. She was photographed together with Javier Bardem. In the film the Spanish actor portrays an artist with whom Scarlett’s character, an American tourist visiting Barcelona, has a fling. I must say, they look great together and I can’t wait to see this film!|

||Wow; Scarlett, Natalie Portman and Eric Bana grace the cover of The Other Boleyn Girl novel by Philippa Gregory and the image is gorgeous! One can assume this will also be the post for the film. The edition can be bought over at Amazon. Credit goes out to NataliePortman.com for the great find!|

As you may notice, we have a fresh new look here at Scarlett-Fan.com! The previous design stayed up since March 2007. I still loved it but we really needed a change. I know that not all of the visitors love darker designs but I wanted to go in a totally different direction this time as all of our past layouts have been light. And the person who came to help, as always, is my dear friend Mycah of Purple Haze Inc, who has really done a lot for the site, also helping me with coding and graphics… A HUGE thank you goes out to her. This time we decided to go with our mutual favorite photoshoot of Scarlett, which was published in Elle magazine in 2004.
The site is still undergoing some renovations as I am updating the content after my absence but everything is now more or less up to date. Plus, Scarlett-Fan.com is turning seven years old next month so what better way to celebrate than with a new layout?! How awesome is that?
As usual, any and all feedback is much appreciated! Mycah and I appreciate all comments from the fans.
The gallery has been updated with 18 shots of Scarlett on the set in Barcelona with Woody Allen. These were taken yesterday, July 25, 2007.
DoubleT has informed us that next week the film will shooting in Asturias (northwest region of Spain). For more information on the future filming locations, please check this thread.

After *two months* of internet downtime, I am finally back up and running! It feels great to be back and I have so many things to add to the site as soon as I can get to it.
I’ve started by adding 26 HQs of Scarlett filming the Woody Allen project yesterday, July 23. That would be day 11, if I’ve counted correctly. Due to popular demand I’ve also made screencaptures of the color version of The Man Who Wasn’t There. Heavens to Betsy, Birdie! Scarlett was already way gorgeous back in 2001.
