I have added a new Scoop related interview with Woody Allen to the Press Archives. He confirms that Scarlett’s character is called ‘Sondra Pransky’, and talks a lot about working with the actress.
“She leaves me for dead. I mean, she’s one of those people that always ? offstage or on ? always tops me. No matter how good a line I come up with ? when we’re putting each other down, teasing each other, whatever ? she always nails me last, and best. Of course, that, to me, earns a lot of respect. Because I always think that I’m quick and witty, and so when someone outguns me consistently, I’m just amazed by it. But it’s true ? and everyone on the set will tell you that.”

According to De Palma a la Mod, “A conversation with James Ellroy” happened Monday night at the Los Angeles Film Festival, where Ellroy spoke, and also showed clips from movies based on his works, including, according to the LA Times, a trailer for the upcoming The Black Dahlia. Hopefully this means that we will not have to wait much longer for the trailer to find its way online.

People.Com reported on the wrap party Scarlett Johansson threw for the cast and crew of The Nanny Diaries at a private home she rented in Bridgehampton, N.Y. “They were all dancing up a storm until 2 a.m.,” a source tells us. The actress catered the event from local eatery Alison and the partygoers feasted on lobster, chicken and potato salad.
Reminder: (Riikka’s previous post) A media alert for Scarlett’s American fans: Biography Channel will be airing a 30-minute Famous special on Ms. Johansson’s life and career this week.
