The Other Boleyn Girl has a new estimated release date – December 21, 2007. It seems like our summer 2007 will be Scarlett free – unless there will be news regarding her album.
I have finally opened the video archive open for the public! It has been months overdue, I know, and I apologize for that. But hopefully the content will make up for the delay. There’s currently 126 videos for your viewing pleasure, with another hundred coming up! Please register to view and download videos. Please thanks to Ivan for the beautiful layout and everyone who has contributed!
According to Variety, The Nanny Diaries has been pushed back from its April release to September 7. It will see its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in Italy, like many of Scarlett’s previous films.
Harvey and Bob Weinstein are moving their chick lit adaptation The Nanny Diaries to Sept. 7 from its planned opening next month.
Pic will have its world preem at the Venice film fest.
Pic was helmed by American Splendor directing duo Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman.
Harvey Weinstein said he’s moving the film to put it in awards contention, and its homevid release will coincide with the Golden Globes.
Weinstein added that he didn’t want the pic to get lost in a summer glut of sequels in various franchises.
Diaries stars Scarlett Johansson in a role Weinstein said the company will likely be pushing for kudos consideration.
Things have been a little quiet in the Scarlett world and I’ve been working on a new feature that hope to launch soon, very soon… But today I took a little time to update the gallery with some images, including scans of the March issue of Famous. Thanks so much to Sarah for sending in the scans!

From the duo that brought the critically acclaimed American Splendor (2003) to the big screen, directors Shari Berman and Robert Pulcini take the reins of The Nanny Diaries in this film translation of McLaughlin and Kraus’s bestselling novel of the same name.
Capitalizing on the book’s fame and America’s fascination with the monarchal matrons of upper crust society, The Nanny Diaries offers a ruthlessly funny yet humanely tempered look at the life of one Manhattan nanny.
Scarlett Johansson headlines as Annie Braddock, a fresh-out-of-college anthropology major who experiences an identity crisis when trying to enter the professional world. Overwhelmed by her conflicting desires, an overbearing mother (Donna Murphy), and some all-too-familiar financial woes, Annie accepts a nanny position with the Mr. and Mrs. X family (Paul Giamatti & Laura Linney).
We now have original HQ scans of the April 2007 issue of Vogue. This would have to be one of Scarlett Johansson’s best magazine editorials ever – if not the best! It is an understatement to say that she looks absolutely stunning in these pictures! BIG thanks to Mycah of our sister site MissPortman.com for taking the time and effort to scan these for us! ♥
The young waiter from the island of Mauritius stood tongue-tied in the dining room of the Spa Hotel in Kent, England, baffled by the movie star who was focused on his French accent instead of his list of Frenchified entrées—trout millefeuille and tenderloin en croute. He did not understand why his native dialect made her think of black magic, Mardi Gras, and dolls with pins.
“You know, voodoo? Witchcraft? Is that part of the culture?” Her voice lowered coaxingly. “You can tell us.”
Scarlett Johansson has a habit of talking forcefully and teasingly to strangers, charging past her own youth and soft, delectable looks to establish a beachhead of individuality. The waiter, the driver, an autograph-seeking fan, a man giving directions on the street…all are treated with the same kind of good-natured raillery.

With the help of the great Mycah I have now managed to change the news script from CuteNews to WordPress, which comes with many more options. This also means that you’re able to comment on the news and updates again, but keep in mind that the comments will be carefully moderated and aproved before added to the site. I obviously will not let any rude or Scarlett bashing comments go through so please don’t even bother writing them – you’re just wasting your own time. Any constructive comments are appreciated, as always.
There was an error with the gallery, which my great host fixed, but it lead to the deletion of the members database. Please register again to take full advantage of the gallery. Sorry for any inconvenience!
Last but not least, I’ve finally added captures of the DVD extras of The Prestige.
Miss Scarlett is featured on the cover of the April 2007 issue of Vogue. This is her first time on the cover of the US edition while she’s already been featured twice in UK version. The gorgeous cover shot can now be found in the gallery! Some highlights from the interview:
• On Woody Allen: “I’d sew the hems of his pants if he asked me to.”
• On Justin Timberlake: “We had fun together, but it’s not like the first time I’ve ever hung out with him. I think this happens because we’re both single and in the spotlight, and obviously Justin’s a very high-profile person.”
• On her and Justin being an item: “Not true.”
• On her break-up with Josh Hartnett: “I’d rather not comment on my personal life in that way.”
She’s “criminally sexy,” Allen, 71, said in an e-mail sent to Vogue about his muse. “She is unlike anyone who has come before her, and while she is a much stronger actress in every way, there is a tiny bit of Marilyn Monroe in her zaftig humidity.”
The April 2007 issue of Vogue hits the stands today so be sure to pick up your copy! Scans would also be much appreciated.
