I have some disappointing news to bring. The Golden Globes website states that Hollywood Foreign Press Association President Philip Berk, Jessica Biel, Rosario Dawson and Matthew Perry will be announcing the Golden Globes tomorrow – with no mention of Scarlett Johansson whatsoever. Perhaps she had to return to England for Boleyn Girl?
Still, keep your fingers crossed for a Best Actress nomination for Scoop!
Miss Johansson attended ‘Les Perles de Chanel’ private dinner yesterday in New York City. She looked very classy in a black number, spicing it up with the red tint and bright lipstick. Five pictures have been added to Scarlett-Photos.com – just make sure that you’re registered and logged in before trying to view these.
Just a reminder – the Golden Globe nominations will be announced tomorrow by Scarlett, Philip Berk, Jessica Biel and Matthew Perry. E! will air the announcement show live at 8:30am (EST) tomorrow.
Scarlett has been listed for AskMen.com’s Top 99 Most Desirable Women for 2007. The 170 finalists have been selected, and now it s up to you to help determine the final 99. Do you want to see Scarlett make the final cut? Be sure to spread the news and give her a 10 here.
And do not forget to cast your vote at the People’s Choice Awards over here. As reported earlier, Scarett is nominated in the Favorite Leading Lady category.
Thanks to my friend Sandra and her amazing Hugh-Jackman.com for informing us that the US and UK DVD release dates have now been announced for The Prestige! The DVD will become available for US residents on February 20, 2007 and March 12, 2007 for UK/European residents according to Amazon.com and .co.uk.
And just a reminder that The Black Dahlia will be released on December 26, 2006 (US) and on January 22, 2006 (UK). I’ve pre-ordered my copy already so caps and clips will be added in a couple of weeks time. Can’t wait!
That suited Vuitton artistic director Marc Jacobs just fine, given the romantic mood of his collection, which featured dense ruffles, Liberty prints and monogram handbags overlaid with metallic lace.
“She looks like the French coquette,” Jacobs said of Johansson’s appearance in Vuitton’s next campaign, slated to break in February magazines. “It’s just fresh, very romantic and extremely pretty.”
I continued the endless task of scanning today as I took out my older clippings and scanned Scarlett’s early magazine features. I uploaded scans from 11 different magazines from the late 1990s and early 2000s, including Teen People from 1998, in which Scarlett poses with Jessica Biel and Kirsten Dunst. View all scans here at Scarlett-Photos.com.
And thanks to our very own Kharmatos, I’ve added two articles to the Press Archive:
This will probably be my last update for this week since I’ll be having some company staying over – unless there will be something all new to add. Meanwhile, enjoy these additions!
Took a little break from studying to catch up on stocking the older pictures. Click here for all recent additions or click below for the individual albums.

I have also scanned the rest of my Scarlett magazines from 2006. If anyone has any magazines that have not been scanned yet, well, contributions are more than welcome as usual.
Exciting – the first production still of The Other Boleyn Girl has been released by Spanish film magazine called Fotogramas! Both Scarlett and Natalie Portman are looking wonderful in their costumes. Can’t wait to see more!
Edit: A large version has been added, thanks to DoubleT.
