Scarlett unveiled her Scarlett Hearts Reebok collection yesterday at Los Angeles’ Nordstrom. She is wearing her own collection and looking great while doing so. I’ve uploaded 87 pictures to the gallery.
Last night, there was a surprise announcement at the launch of her new line: Scarlett donated 2000 pairs of Reebok footwear to the Soles4Soles campaign which sends shoes to refugees in the Sudan and surrounding areas.
The Spring Cleaning/Million Pair March campaign wants to gather one million shoes and raise $1 million dollars for the cause. Other celebs helping out include Don Cheadle, Jessica Alba, Parker Posey, Susan Lucci, Jeff Probst and Melissa Rivers. According to GiveShoes.org, there are 1.52 million pairs of unwanted shoes lying in closets in the US.
Screen Daily reports that Woody Allen wants to cast Scarlett Johansson and Rebecca Hall (The Prestige co-star) opposite Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem in his new and currently untitled film to be shot in Barcelona, Spain this summer.
Allen described the story as “romantic but serious.” A script has been completed and Allen is currently auditioning English-speaking actors. Prized Spanish cinematographer Javier Aguirresarobe has been tapped for the film as part of a reportedly all-Spanish crew. The film will also shoot in Oviedo, a city in Spain’s northern Asturias region.
Scarlett previously starred in Woody Allen’s Scoop and Match Point.
In this coming Sunday’s Parade, Contributing Editor James Kaplan talks in depth with gifted young actress Scarlett Johansson. Below, you can read the Web exclusive interview with Johansson, and see what she has to say about dodging paparazzi and why she’ll never be late to a movie set. Then, photographer Andrew Eccles reveals what went on behind the scenes at Parade‘s photo shoot with Johansson. Click here for the full article. Thanks to Alexis Collado of Parade for the link!
To try to get all the details right, James Kaplan asked Johansson to tell him the provenance of everything she was wearing. And she did—shoes, Alaia; T-shirt, Balenciaga; wristwatch, Chanel…. Then she looked at Kaplan very cheekily and said, “And what are you wearing?â€

The US Magazine
website has more quotes from Scarlett’s interview so be sure to check those out! This one especially strikes a cord with me as a fellow Marilyn fan:
“I absolutely love Marilyn Monroe. Not only was she this incredibly gorgeous creature, but she had a real fragility about her work that is so touching. I think that’s why she was underappreciated as a really talented actor.”
I don’t know what is going on or what may have caused this but the comments have been flooded with hateful comments recently and I have been forced to delete SJ bashing messages several times a day. It has never been a problem in the past. Just to make it clear, this is a Scarlett Johansson FAN site. She most likely does not read the comments so there is no point in trying to get her attention by posting silly messages. They’re pointless and will be deleted anyway. I might also ban you from coming to this site. If you dislike Scarlett, what are you doing here anyway? You’re just wasting your time, and mine.
Having said this, I want to thank all of the fans for their continuing support and lovely comments. They’re all very much appreciated!
Update: I’ve closed off the comments section due to all of the recent negativity.
I have updated the Causes and Charities, Reebok and Music Videos pages with new information and pictures. Speaking of, there are new pictures of Scarlett’s visit to India and Reebok promos in the gallery. Thanks to Aloxite for the great finds!
I made some simple LJ icons from the new and lovely Esquire outtakes. An example can be seen on the right. Check out all 12 in the Fan Archive.
Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson sparked a photographer frenzy at the Louis Vuitton show on Sunday, as designer Marc Jacobs took Paris fashion week to its final phase with shimmering, slim outfits.
Jacobs said his collection was a homage to Johannes Vermeer, calling the line “Girl with a monogrammed bag”, a play on words on Vermeer’s painting and the 2003 film Girl with a Pearl Earring on the Dutch painter, in which Johansson played a main character.
“I thought it was amazing,” the actress told reporters after the show in a giant tent in a courtyard of the Louvre museum.
“I thought it was beautiful. And I was really happy to see how wearable everything is,” she said, after Jacobs paraded out models in short leather jackets with asymmetric zips. Other girls wore A-line coats and dresses in all shades of blue.
“The colour palette was informed by paintings from Vermeer,” Jacobs said after the show. “What we set out to do was to .. keep a sense of romanticism and a sense of colour but to give them a force and a strength and to keep them modern.”
