“Working with these incredible hair and makeup teams, you go in looking like a schmoe, and you come out like a movie star, you go through the works, and then you’re like this perfectly prepared sausage…no one ever sees what goes in.”
“I’m 25, and for some time I’ve played these characters who are kind of figuring it out, transforming from young girls to young women. I don’t feel like a girl anymore. And I feel like my life and career are on a different path than they had been.”
Scarlett’s on the cover of V Magazine‘s summer issue and oh my good what an amazing cover! (click to view it on the gallery). She’s wearing Yves Saint Laurent and it’s photographed by Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. Scarlett’s publicist sent me an email with her first thoughts on the Tony Award nomination!
“It has been a dream come true to be a part of the Broadway community. I am deeply honored to be nominated and so proud to have been a part of this extraordinary production.”
All the best for our girl!
Scarlett’s back in LA for some Iron Man 2 promotion (remember that the movie has already opened worldwide but it opens this friday May 7 in the US). She attended the Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night looking super sexy with a black dress. And just this morning she went to the Ellen DeGeneres Show, such a funny interview to watch! You can check out some stills I’ve added to the gallery and you’ve got links for the interviews after the cut.
PS: She’s also gonna be attending the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson tonight!

Gwyneth Paltrow says the gloves have never come off and there’s no such thing as a fight brewing with her Iron Man 2 costar Scarlett Johansson.
“People tell me, ‘Oh you had a fight,’ ” Paltrow tells People of the Internet chatter surrounding the A-list stars. “They’re pitting you against each other and I just think, ‘Why do we need to make a problem between women?’ ”
“I think that’s the part that’s lame,” she adds.
Paltrow, 37, says the truth of the matter is she happens to love Johansson, particularly for her raunchy side.
“I adore Scarlett. I loved having her on set,” Paltrow insists. “She is really funny. She swears a lot. She has a dirty sense of humor. She loves to cook. She’s like a girl after my own heart.”
Scarlett was pure perfection in head-to-toe Prada at the 2010 White House Correspondents’ Dinner at the Washington Hilton Hotel yesterday (May 1) in Washington, D.C.
She was accompanied by her good-looking twin brother, Hunter. The Johansson twins sat at the Huffington Post table next to John Cusack, Jeremy Piven and talent agent Ari Emanuel. The dinner raised money for WHCA scholarships and honors the recipients of the organization’s jonalism awards.
So, what do you think of her look? You can check out lots of HQ pics that I’ve added to the gallery!

When rumors hit the Web that the Kurt Cobain biopic had found its leads in Robert Pattinson and Scarlett Johansson, the idea that Pattinson would portray the indie rocker was quickly dismissed. But fans shouldn’t give up on the prospect of Johansson playing the Hole frontwoman, because she hasn’t ruled it out just yet.
“I know that there is a script. That’s as much as I know about it,” she told MTV News while promoting “Iron Man 2.” “I’m a big fan of Courtney’s, and I think she’s very, very talented. But I don’t know anything about the project.”
Johansson — who released an album with Pete Yorn last year and also an album of Tom Waits covers in 2008 — said that despite her musical chops, playing the female rocker would be a different sort of role for her. “It would be a challenge, definitely would be a challenge,” she said. “I think the idea is interesting and intriguing, but I would have to really wrap my head around it.”Recently, Love’s manager, Jonathan Daniel, told Spin that Courtney wouldn’t mind seeing the ingénue play her on the big screen. He also confirmed that the RPattz casting rumors were just that: rumors. “Courtney likes Scarlett Johansson as an actress and as a person, so it wouldn’t surprise me if she wanted her to play her,” Daniel told the magazine. “I’m not sure she knows who RPattz is, but he sure is cute.”
The whole Iron Man 2 cast attended the film’s world premiere yesterday in LA. Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Robert Downey Jr, Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, Sam Rockwell and director Jon Favreau were among all the stars walking down the red carpet.
Scarlett opted for a stunning sculpted asymmetrical dress and glittery heels by Armani Privé, and her co-star Gwyneth Paltrow, 37, went for a more androgynous look in a pair of Giorgio Armani degrade shorts and matching blazer. You can see lots of HQ pics in our gallery!

loves her curvy body. She said she finds that skinny celebs are not attractive. She never wants to super slim. She said that she doesn’t have to be skinny to sexy.
“You’re never going to see me losing a whole bunch of weight. I’m not anxious to starve myself. For me, it’s not all sexy to be ultra-thin” the actress told monstersandcritics.com.
In order to fit into the cat suit for the movie Iron man, she did weight training, mixed martial arts and hand to hand combat. She says she ate healthier like omelets, turkey and things of that nature. One of her motivators was fitting into the cat suit, she said.
“I was like if I gotta get into that thing, I better start now.”
She wishes she could’ve kept up the training, but once filming was over she lost all motivation saying to the cat suit, “Ta-ta for now. I love you! Hopefully I’ll see you in the future!”
