Just wanted to take a moment and wish Scarlett a (late) happy 25th birthday!

I’ve been reading over the comments from the past month or so and I want to put some rumors to rest.  The site has not been abandoned.  I know I haven’t updated in a very long time but real life always takes precedence over internet life.  Things are finally settling down and with the current term about to end, I’ll have some free time to once again devote to my sites.  I once again ask for your continued patience and understanding.

Liev Schreiber and Scarlett Johansson will topline a Broadway revival of Arthur Miller drama A View From the Bridge, bowing at the Cort Theater later this season.

Johansson, who recently wrapped production on Iron Man 2, makes her Rialto debut in the role. Schreiber was last on Broadway in the 2007 revival of Talk Radio and won a Tony for Glengarry Glen Ross in 2005.

Gregory Mosher, the director and producer who is also the director of the Arts Initiative at Columbia U., helms. His most recent Broadway directing credit was a 1992 staging of A Streetcar Named Desire starring Jessica Lange and Alec Baldwin.

Just a quick post to let you know that I am still here.  I was dealing with some real life stuff that thankfully turned out ok.  I’m hoping to get some updates posted soon but please be patient.  There’s a lot to get caught up on and organized.

Handbag Amnesty is back in collaboration with Cancer Research UK, hosting an auction of handbags donated from a number of A-listers, set to take place this October. Celebrities that have recently offered their designer goods for the upcoming Ebay auction include: Paris Hilton, Scarlett Johansson, Alexander McQueen (we’re bidding for his silver clutch), Hilary Alexander and Rachel Bilson. All winning bids will go to Cancer Research UK.

The personal-shopping department at Selfridges is packed with people sipping San Pellegrino and whispering into their Blackberrys. This is exciting. Where is she? Where’s Scarlett Johansson? For it is she we are here to meet. It could be such a disappointment were she not so well turned out.

She really does look exactly the way a movie star should. She is in a suite, on a sofa, dressed top to toe in Dolce & Gabbana — well, it is their new fragrance, Rose The One, she’s plugging. She is all poise and pleasantries, and says “Nice to meet you” with a smile that gives nothing away except an exceptional and seamless professionalism.

We get straight down to business. She tells me about being the face of the new fragrance: “I’ve always loved rose oils. I think scents are a way of making memories. Ideally, fragrances become a signature for different moments in our lives, and you can match the scent to how you’re feeling.” On being the face of Dolce & Gabbana Make Up, she says: “It’s a celebration of femininity.”

Back in July, I posted screencaptures and a link for the very quick glimpse of what was then thought to be the video for ‘Relator’.  We’ve since found out that is not the case as it’s a promo video shot to advertise the album.  And while it does feature some footage from the ‘Relator’ video, it mostly shows footage of the photoshoot for the album.  A longer version of this video has been released and you can view it after the cut.  Screencaptures will be coming soon.
