In my continuing quest to complete the DVD screencaptures for all of Scarlett’s movies, I have added 700 from The Spirit – including menus and a making of featurette. While not one of my favorite movies, it is visually stunning and Scarlett looks amazing!
Hello Everyone! I’m Rope and I’m glad to announce that I will be co-webmistress with Lisa from today! I’m also a long time fan of Scarlett and I’ve been following her career since I saw her in Girl With a Pearl Earring. I will do my best to keep both Scarlett-Fan and Scarlett-Photos updated, and I hope you like my job and of course Lisa’s!
To start, I’m adding to the gallery some unseen outtakes from Scarlett’s album ‘Anywhere I Lay My Head’ photoshoot, she looks so natural and beautiful.

For those of you that just can’t get enough of Scarlett Johansson or S-F.com, I’ve created a new Twitter account. To keep up with Scarlett news and site updates, follow @ScarlettFan. If you’re interested in keeping up to date with all my fansites (plus my daily personal tweets), follow @wandering_fairy.
While perusing the gallery, I noticed that we were lacking DVD quality screencaptures of The Other Boleyn Girl. This has now been remedied with the addition of nearly 2000 captures including the movie, featurettes, and deleted scenes. I’m expecting my copies of Vicky Cristina Barcelona and The Spirit tomorrow so screencaptures of those will be up soon!

Greeting Scarlett fans! As Riikka posted not long ago, she has decided to step down as owner of Scarlett-Fan. She has graciously passed the site over to me and I can’t even begin to tell you all how excited I am. I’m a long time fan of Scarlett’s and have been following her career since 1997. This site has always been one that I admired – and I’ll admit it, coveted – for many years. I know that I can continue to make this site grow and remain the #1 Scarlett source on the web.
Stay tuned – the first of many big gallery updates is currently uploading and will be added shortly.
I wanted to inform the loyal visitors of the site that I have decided to leave the staff of Scarlett-Fan.com.
As you guys know, I have been a fan of Scarlett for many, many years and maintaining the site since 2006 so trust that this is not a decision I made lightly. In fact, I have been thinking about it for a good while. What it comes down to is that I no longer have the time nor motivation to keep it going. The truth is that Scarlett’s career is no longer as interesting to me as it was a few years back. But I will, of course, continue following Scarlett’s career and rooting for her. The site is just too much work for me to run, especially when my heart is not really in it any longer. Mycah has been helping me with updates for a good number of months but she does not have the time to fully take over, and neither do the old owners. I simply do not have the time to maintain the site by myself anymore and I don’t have interest in leaving it sitting around for months without updates; I want the site to continue to be as good as it has been since 2001.
Fear not – the site will not be closing! Lisa of EnchantingAmy.com will be taking over and will, no doubt, do an amazing job as your new webmistress! I’m sure that the site will continue to be well taken care of for many more years to come.
I thank you all for your support, contributions and visits during the past three years. I hope you’ll continue to support the site and give Lisa a warm welcome as the new webmistress here at Scarlett-Fan.com!

Some new information from EW.com:
EW has confirmed that Scarlett Johansson’s first directorial effort, a movie short starring Kevin Bacon, has been left on the cutting room floor of the upcoming anthology film New York, I Love You. But, contrary to the many Internet rumors, it’s not because the footage was unwatchable. “It’s not a bad piece at all,” says one insider on the film. “In fact, I quite liked it.”
So why axe Scarlett’s piece? It seems her somber story about an obsessive-compulsive man who only finds peace when he reaches Coney Island and buys a hot dog just didn’t jive with the rest of the shorts. “It’s shot in black and white and there’s very little dialogue or interpersonal relationships,” explains the insider. “It just didn’t work in the context of the movie.”
