A small but kind of fun update today. I recently came across some great promo ads for the Silken Floss action figure. Those have all been added to the gallery along with a couple new photos from the promo photoshoot and a few behind the scenes photos.

Registration for the gallery will be closing in a few days so hurry and register now :)

A few news sources have reported today that Scarlett will be taking part in a four part ITV series hosted by Fearne Cotton titled Ferne and…

Presenter Fearne Cotton is to shadow four famous women, including Scarlett Johansson and Paris Hilton, for a new ITV2 series in which she will attempt to find out what makes them tick.

The four part series, Fearne and…, which will also feature Alesha Dixon and Peaches Geldof, will see Cotton follow the stars at work and play through their daily lives as well as meeting their friends and families.

Not sure how I feel about this. If it’s done well (more like a documentary), I will probably watch it. What do you all think?

As Rope reported earlier, Scarlett was at the Los Angeles Film Festival launch dinner held last night at the BOA Steakhouse restaurant. However, there was no sign of Ryan so we’re still waiting for their first event photos together. Scarlett wore a form fitting, knee length LBD and a pair of very cute copper peep toes. Elegant up swept hair, natural toned makeup, and drop earrings completed the look. I’ve added a small batch of MQ photos to the gallery. Hopefully more will surface later.

edit: 10 HQ versions of some of the photos have been added.

As is very obvious, I went ahead and put up the new themes for the main site and the gallery.  I was going to wait until I got back on Monday but the finishing touches didn’t take me as long as I thought they would.  Plus, I just couldn’t wait anymore!  The layout on the main site looks best in Firefox but works well in the latest version of IE.  All of the links should work but if there are any issues, please don’t hesitate to email me and let me know.

I wanted the layouts to match without really matching so I used images from the same photoshoot but two different designers.  The entire gallery theme was created by the very talented Chloe.  The theme on the main site is a heavily modified version of one created by Amanda with the header graphic created by Megan.  You guys can totally blame my trip to China for me deciding on a slightly oriental feel to the new look lol.  I hope you all like it as much as I do.

For those of you that follow our Twitter account or have been paying attention to the tweets in the sidebar, you will already know that the site is in the process of being moved to its new host. The main site is done and there were no issues. My new host is currently working on moving the gallery. That should go smoothly as well but be aware that there could be some downtime.

edit: The transfers are now 100% complete! Very quick and almost painless. In celebration, I have opened up registration at the gallery. You do not need to be registered to view any of the photos we have but you will be able to comment on photos. Registration will only be open for about a week so hurry and join now :)

Maybe this means that we’ll get the first pics of Scarlett and her husband Ryan together at an event? We hope so!

Film Independent, the non-profit arts organization that produces the Spirit Awards and the Los Angeles Film Festival, announced today its sponsors for the 2009 Los Angeles Film Festival, presented by the Los Angeles Times (www.latimes.com). The Los Angeles Film Festival will run from Thursday, June 18 to Sunday, June 28 in Westwood Village.

Joining the Festival in their second year and serving as a Platinum Sponsor, the Hotel Palomar will again host visiting Festival filmmakers. New in 2009, the Hotel Palomar will host Kodak Speed Dating and was the official venue for the highly successful June 5th Festival Lineup Announcement, hosted by Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna.

I’ve noticed that we were missing tons of Moët & Chandon campaign print ads and behind the scenes photos in the gallery, and also some production stills from He’s Just Not That Into You, so a little gallery update for today with more than 20 new pics, enjoy!

From June 11th-June 21st I will be in China on an educational trip.  The people in charge of the group has assured us that we will have internet connection while at our hotels but I imagine that I will be extremely busy and won’t have much time to spend online.  I am bringing a few files with me on my laptop so I will update if I can.  Also, Rope and Cam will take good care of the site while I’m gone.

When I return, I have a brand new look for both the site and gallery that will be debuted.  I am very excited about it and I hope that you all will like it.

For those of you who still enjoy collecting and listening to vinyl records, there’s a great event happening on June 20th.

This just in music fans – June 20th will mark the first Vinyl Saturday, a new event from the Record Store Day people.  Like Record Store Day, Vinyl Saturday will involve a whole lot of bands releasing exclusive material to independent record stores.

Other exclusives include a 7″ from the forthcoming Scarlett Johansson/Pete Yorn duets album Break Up (with a Yorn solo demo on the b-side).

So head on over to your local independent record store on the 20th and see if you can get a copy.  I’ve added a photo of the exclusive cover from this promotion to the gallery.
