Tonic is auctioning off a new iPod, autographed by Scarlett Johansson and loaded with her favorite playlist as part of the Tonic Auction Series. Scarlett’s iPod is up for auction on March 16, 2009 at 10am until March 26, 2009 at 10am. One hundred percent of proceeds from the auctions go to the non-profit Music Rising that is replacing instruments lost in the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina.
I just noticed that Scarlett’s The Early Show appearance from earlier this month was never posted so you can now check it out under the cut. I’ve also made screencaps of the video. Scarlett looked really beautiful with her dark red hair.
I’ve added some other pending images in the gallery, mainly screencaps from her 2008 interviews, so please click on the last uploads link to view them all.

1.) Friday the 13th – $45,210,000
2.) He’s Just Not That Into You – $23,365,000
3.) Taken – $22,200,000
4.) Coraline – $19,109,000
5.) Confessions of a Shopaholic – $17,303,000
Speaking of the film, I actually caught it myself this weekend and while I didn’t love it or Scarlett’s role, she did the best with the material provided and since it looks to be a while before we see Scarlett back on the big screen since nothing is slated, I’d definitely say see it for that reason alone.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting the rumor that Scarlett Johansson is in discussions with Marvel Studios to replace Emily Blunt for the role of Russian superspy Natasha Romanoff, who doubles as Black Widow, in Iron Man 2.
Blunt’s commitment to 20th Century Fox and the studio’s upcoming Gulliver’s Travels may prohibit her from co-starring in the superhero sequel.
Marvel will not confirm, but sources tell EW that Johansson has indeed met with the filmmakers and is interested in taking the role. Blunt’s reps are still trying to make both projects work, but “Gulliver’s” is further along, with a start date of April 15. Iron Man 2 still doesn’t have a shooting script and a start date has not yet been determined.
Hopefully we will find out from an official source soon if this is indeed true. Scarlett film rumors are a mile a minute but fans probably know she doesn’t have anything (filming wise) on her plate at the moment.

This February will see a publishing first — over 30 covers of the February issues of Elle Magazine internationally will feature Gisele on the cover as she teams up with Scarlett and BONO to help fight AIDS in Africa for (RED).
Inside, Scarlett Johansson shares private details and photos of her travels to Rwanda and (RED) Founder and U2 Front man, Bono publishes a very personal letter.
Scarlett on AIDS tests:
“When I admitted that I’d taken two HIV tests, everyone was completely horrified, the implication being that I was leading this wild lifestyle,” says Scarlett Johansson, whose decision to join Bono in the (RED) initiative was a “no brainer.” “I was only being responsible.”
Scarlett On (RED):
“When you purchase (PRODUCT) RED items – from partners including Apple, Armani, Converse and the Gap – up to 50 percent of profits go directly to fighting HIV/AIDS in Africa. Forty cents a day translates to the two antiretroviral pills needed to survive.”
“If that can be achieved by buying a couple of pairs of Converse, it’s worth a shot.”
