Rap star Will.i.am is set to release a new song celebrating Barack Obama’s victory in the US presidential election.
The song, “It’s a New Day”, which will be released online, is the singer’s third track about Obama.
The Black Eyed Peas singer worked throughout election night to finish the song said it was a tribute to the American people.
The 33-year-old has been a prominent supporter of Mr Obama in the election race.
The song also features actress Scarlett Johansson, Herbie Hancock and Lewis Hamilton’s girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.
The musician, who scored a top ten hit with Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole in April, spent part of election night in Chicago, where Mr Obama delivered his victory address.
The song will debut today (November 5th), on dipdive.com.
Barack Obama was elected president at 11:01 p.m. Tuesday, November 4th, 2008. Scarlett Johansson has been an avid supporter of Obama’s appearing at multiple ralleys and events.
Obama wins California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington, giving him 324 electoral votes to McCain’s 124. He will be the 44th president of the United States. After a tight battle against Republican Sen. John McCain, Obama has become the first African American president in the history of the United States.
Obama is set to address his supporters from Chicago’s Grant Park.
Scarlett Johansson campaigned for the Obama-Biden ticket at Case Western Reserve University today in Cleveland, Ohio.
Johansson told students and other supporters that Barack Obama’s stand on the War in Iraq sealed her endorsement, but also approves of his positions on health care, education, and the economy.
Scarlett took questions from the audience and was asked about Sarah Palin. Johansson claims Palin would roll back most of the gains made by the women’s movement, and called the Alaska governor inexperienced, and a very scary person.
Johansson says as she campaigns across the country, she doesn’t expect people to take the word of an actress very seriously, but wants to make her views known.
Johansson contends this is an exciting time to be young, and a great time to make a difference by voting.

I will be taking some time off from the online world, including this site, to focus on my university studies and final dissertation. I shall be stopping by on the site and forum occasionally but I will not be able to update regularly for the coming few months. Mycah and Mariana, who have already often helped out and contributed in the past, will be taking care of the main site and image gallery during my leave while Sana and ScarlettSkies have been appointed as forum admins. We also have a new email address, firstname.lastname@example.org, so please contact us all there from now on.
I want to say massive thanks to these ladies for their help! I hope you will give them a warm welcome here and shall continue to support the site as always.

I have made and uploaded scans of three French magazines from 2008: Cosmopolitan (rare, stunning cover!), Les Inrockuptibles (another rare cover and some rare album pics inside) and Madame Figaro.
By the way, rumor has it that Scarlett will be on the cover of the December issue of Allure! Here’s to hoping for yet another gorgeous cover.
Today I’ve replaced the Another Magazine photoshoot with high res versions and added a brand new shoot, which to me looks like it was taken at the same time as the “In My Name” campaign image. I wish to thank Cassie and Natasha for their kind help! Please remember to register/log in to view the images.
