I wanted to let all of our loyal visitors know that the site will likely not be updated a whole lot this month. I am going to be traveling and then returning to university late this month. If the hiatus will last longer than a month, I will be sure to update on it again. But rest assured, I will update as soon as I can. Meanwhile, our forum is the top place to go for all the latest on SJ.
Before going, I did manage to update the gallery with various scans, including those of various editions of Cosmo, the poster for He’s Just Not That Into You and some photoshoot outtakes. Please click here to view all.
Thanks so much to rope, Via, Domi, Lindsey, Roberto, DoubleT and Andra for making this update possible!
See you soon!

Head on over to YouTube to view the New York, I Love You trailer. Scarlett has, of course, written and directed one of its 12 segments and you can see a couple of frames of Kevin Bacon here, the star of her segment. I think the trailer looks really cool and I cannot wait to see Scarlett’s directorial debut!
MTV revealed today that Scarlett will present at the the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, which will air live on September 7, 2008 at 9 p.m ET.
Speaking of public events, Scarlett will not attend the September 19 Vicky Cristina Barcelona premiere at the San Sebastian Film Festival, unlike previously mentioned. She will not be promoting the movie in Europe. I believe she is still expected to appear on the Stand Up To Cancer telethon on September 5. And then New York, I Love You will premiere in Toronto on September 6. I am not sure if she will attend the premiere.

Here at handbag.com we are working on a campaign with Cancer Research UK called handbag amnesty. The aim of this project is help raise money to fight breast cancer. In order to do this we are asking a number of celebrities to donate a handbag that we can auction off.
All bags donated to the Handbag Amnesty will be auctioned on eBay from Friday 3rd – Sunday 12th of October to tie in with Breast Cancer Awareness month. Open to everyone, all proceeds will go to Cancer Research UK, the largest single funder of research into breast cancer, one of the most common cancers in the UK.
We a have a host of celebrities involved both here in the UK and from America, including a signed handbag from Scarlett.
Thanks so much to Ivan at Kate-Bosworth.org for making us their Site of the Month for August 2008! It is muchly appreciated.
