She’s a fierce talent who’s already won one Oscar for her supporting work, but take a look at Jennifer Connelly’s filmography and what jumps out is that most of it is, well, supporting: John Nash’s wife, the Hulk’s girlfriend, the love interest of male leads in Requiem for a Dream, Dark City, The Rocketeer and more.
“I’ve done so many movies where I’ve been a wife or a girlfriend and less where I’m playing just a friend,” Connelly admitted to MTV News. “That’s one of the things that was exciting about [being in] He’s Just Not That Into You.”
Based on the popular self-help book of the same name, He’s Just Not That Into You follows several stories, each of them told “in sort of chapters,” Connelly said, “chapters on this thematic idea” — basically how to tell when a man is interested in a relationship.

Scarlett Johansson, Eva Longoria Parker and Jessica Biel have designed their own corsets for charity. The Hollywood stars teamed up with Clothes Off Our Backs and Frederick’s of Hollywood to add their own personal touches to the lingerie, which will be auctioned today to raise money for children’s charities.
Edit: Johansson’s corset, a champagne satin piece decked with platinum glass beads, sold for $11,000.
I’ve added scans from Elle (The Netherlands) – November 2007 and Marie Claire (Australia) – October 2007. In Elle four make up artists apply different make-up on Scarlett, which is interesting to see. A big “thank you” goes out to Tubish and Rachel for scanning these mags for the fans to see! I’ve also added more caps from various interviews, including KOVR Sacramento (2007) and The Today Show (2006), which were both new to me. I will be adding videos of these as soon as I have a little more time in my hands.

More proof that Baltimore is becoming a veritable Hollywood of the east…
New Line Cinema’s comedy He’s Just Not That Into You, starring Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly, Scarlett Johansson and Kris Kristofferson, is scheduled to shoot for four days in Baltimore next month.
Plans call for the film to shoot Nov. 16-19. No positive word yet on where, or which of the principals will actually be coming to Baltimore (which, according to imdb.com, is where the film is set), but here’s one sure way to find out:
As part of next weekend’s fund-raiser for the Maryland Film Festival, a role as an extra on the film is being auctioned off. (Information at the MFF website, md-filmfest.com).

According to reports the Woody Allen Spanish Project finally has an official title – Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Here’s a report from The Guardian:
Woody Allen’s Barcelona-set film finally has a name – Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Spanish production company Mediapro revealed the moniker yesterday. The film stars Allen’s current muse, Scarlett Johansson, alongside Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem, and is described by the film-maker as a “love letter” to Barcelona.
Apparently the title comes from the names of Rebecca Hall and Scarlett’s characters, Vicky and Christina, respectively.
The Scarlett ♥s RBK website has been updated with all kinds of goodies, including videos and photos, and pretty new items are up for sale. Her Fall/Winter 2007/2008 collection looks really beautiful. I’ve updated the gallery and video archive with a bunch of RBK related materials for your viewing pleasure.
