Looks like newly engaged Scarlett Johansson can cross shopping for a bridal gown off her to-do list.
“I’m definitely doing her wedding dress,” fashion’s Stella McCartney, 36, told People at a Tuesday night cocktail party she hosted at her West Hollywood boutique – where she arrived fashionably late along with the couple Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend.
There’s only one hitch before Johansson, 23, gets hitched to fiancé Ryan Reynolds (who proposed recently), according to McCartney: “She doesn’t know it yet.”
As earlier reported, Scarlett is in attendance of tonight’s “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. It is a different look for Scarlett and she’s looking absolutely stunning! You can definitely see a glow there. What do you think of her Dolce & Gabbana gown? I think she looks like a fairy princess.
Update: First photos have been added in the gallery.

Congratulations to Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds, who have announced their engagement today!!!
After dating for more than a year, Scarlett Johansson is set to marry her boyfriend Ryan Reynolds, People has learned exclusively.
“They’re both thrilled,” Johansson’s rep Marcel Pariseau tells People.
Reynolds, 31, currently filming the aptly named The Proposal in Boston with Sandra Bullock, recently popped the question to Johansson, 23. The couple have not set a wedding date.
The Nanny Diaries star is expected to show off her sparkler at Monday night’s Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala in New York. Sources say Johansson is eager to “show off her rock” with her Dolce & Gabbana gown.
I have been going through the donations bin this weekend, which includes some really cool stuff. Romina and Joanna sent in scans from new Dutch and Polish magazines (including some new pics!) and Roberto contributed screencaps of deleted scenes of The Nanny Diaries, which can be found on the Italian DVD. I’ve scanned Scarlett’s page from the FHM ‘100 Sexiest’ special and added plenty of additional pictures to the New York, I Love You on set albums. Click here to view all new additions. Enjoy the new goodies and, again, thanks so much to everyone who contributed!

A slew of additional A-list attendees have been confirmed for Monday’s annual Costume Institute gala. Diane von Furstenberg has designed custom dresses for Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen, who will attend as her guests; Hilary Duff will sit with Allure editor Linda Wells; Sofia Coppola, Karen Elson, Rachel Feinstein, and Helena Christensen are attending with Marc Jacobs; Dolce & Gabbana (Domenico Dolce has already arrived in New York) are dressing Scarlett Johansson and Iman and David Bowie; Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are guests of Donatella Versace; Zoe Kravitz is sitting at the Teen Vogue table; and Lake Bell and Cameron Diaz have been invited by Vogue.
Will Scarlett and Sofia Coppola get photographed together? That would be so awesome! In any case, I cannot wait to see Scarlett out and about again!

From Paste magazine:
Yes, Scarlett Johansson is beautiful in person. It’s not an optical illusion or camera tricks or makeup magic or airbrushing. That’s usually what people want to know when they find out you’ve interviewed her. Guys ask if she’s real. Girls always—without fail, without hesitation—ask what she was wearing. What can I tell you about her that I don’t mention in my June cover story? When answering a question, she’ll look past you into space for the words. But then, without warning, she’ll lock eyes with you mid-sentence, utterly confident in her ideas, even as they take shape.
It seems that Scarlett’s album and the music video have stirred up some controversy online and in the media: people seem to either love or hate it! NME gave the album 8 out of 10 – pretty good! You can read the full review here and check out an excerpt below. Remember that you can always come and voice your opinion on Scarlett’s work on the forum – as long as it is voiced in a respectful manner. We’d love to hear from you!
This is a brilliant album that will no doubt top some ‘best of 2008’ lists, but it’s hard to work out if it’s a one-off or not. Perhaps the answer lies in the one original track, ‘Song For Jo’, which stands out as a result of its sparseness. A lone acoustic guitar strums, as an ambient orchestra plays in the background. It recalls Karen O’s Squeak E Clean collaboration ‘Hello Tomorrow’ and suggests that if Johansson and Sitek collaborated on a second album, similar ghostly magic could happen again. Let’s hope they do.
Here’s a quick little gallery update with a bunch of pretty photos, including new Vicky Cristina Barcelona stills and additional photos of the “Anywhere I Lay My Head” album photoshoot… Stunning! Thanks so much to all of our lovely forum members who contributed to this post!
